Today (January 21, 2020) at 09.30 hours, Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr. Suthi Sukosol assigned Assistant to the Permanent Secretary of Labour Mrs. Phattana Phanfak to chair the meeting of Commend Center of Prevention on Labour, to discuss the guidelines on the Somalia case. The International Cooperation Bureau, the Strategy and Planning Division, the Office of the Permanent Secretary, the Department of Employment, the Department of Labour Protection and Welfare, SR Law, the Migrant Working Group (MWG), the Human Rights and Development Foundation (HRDF), Stella Maris and Freedom Fund, also joined the meeting. The meeting considered expediting processes in Somalia, for victims to receive outstanding wages and compensation following the law. The meeting took place at the Mitmaitree 2 Meeting Room, 5th floor, Department of Labour Protection and Welfare, Ministry of Labour and the Prasong Rananant Meeting Room, 5th floor, Ministry of Labour.
