On July 13, 2020, at 09.00 hours, Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr. Suthi Sukosol assigned Assistant to the Permanent Secretary of Labour Ms. Pattraporn Samatrat presided over the opening of the public hearing seminar to listen to opinions about the hourly wage determination. The occasion took place at the Baiyoke Sky Hotel, Bangkok. The event had the objective to allow participants to learn and understand the wage development in Thailand compared to other countries, the impact of various situations that affect current employment and work, to change the concept of determining hourly wage rates for Thailand and to brainstorm suggestions from relevant parties regarding the determination of hourly wage rates.
