On December 14, 2019, Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr. Suthi Sukosol assigned Assistant to the Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr. Niyom Songkaew to participate in the “Career Fair for Workers with Disabilities” organized by the National Council on Social Welfare of Thailand under the Royal Patronage, with support from the charity lottery project. The event took place at the Exhibition and Convention Center, Impact Muang Thong Thani (Hall 7-8). The NCSWT’s President General Singha Saovapap chaired the opening ceremony to promote people with disabilities nationwide and allow the opportunity to sell products, generating income and promotions, with more channels of distribution for people with disabilities.
The Assistant to the Permanent Secretary of Labour visited the activity booths promoting employment for people with disabilities, organized by the Department of Employment. The activities also supported the development of potential and displayed work from the people with disabilities skill competition organized by the Department of Skill Development.
