MOL Joins Conference and Gives Special Lecture on “Reforming Establishments: Focusing on Employees’ Health”

          On August 6, 2021, at 09.00 hours, Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin assigned Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr. Niyom Songkaew to give a special lecture on the topic “reforming establishments: focusing on employees’ health.” The lecture took place online via Zoom, during the “online health promotion exhibition: empowering and promoting health in establishments,” at the Prasong Rananant meeting room, 5th floor, Ministry of Labour. He said that the Ministry of Labour is committed to promoting welfare to cover workers of all groups and ages, to create a good quality of life for the workforce, complete in physical and mental health. It aims to happy workers, to be able to live a stable life, receive appropriate protection and welfare, and reduce inequality in all dimensions. He shared his appreciation for organizations that see the value of workers as a partner or a living asset in the business cycle that should be taken care of. He further encouraged the management of establishments, workplace welfare committees, and support personnel in enhancing employees’ health, contributing to the cooperation between employers and employees or between employees themselves. The synergy will allow organizations to operate effectively to drive the country’s economy in the future. The effort is based on love, unity, and commitment to the organization, working hand in hand to overcome the crisis sustainably.
