MOL Joins Meeting with Senate Administration Committee

         On March 3, 2021, at 15.00 hours, Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr. Niyom Songkaew as the leader of the Ministry of Labour’s Strategic Transformation Office, along with representatives from agencies under the Ministry of Labour to meet with the Senate Administration Committee at the Parliament Building (Kiakkai). Deputy Chairman of the Commission General Chusak Meksuwan chaired the meeting to clarify information about the Ministry of Labour’s budget for the 2021 fiscal year for the Big Rock and Quick Win projects, totaling ten projects. The major projects that will result in significant changes to the people (Big Rock) include the MOL Service Center System development project and the insured person’s self-service reimbursement system via electronic systems (e-self-service), and the social security fund, for example. Projects that need to operate urgently (Quick Win) include the project to hire a consultant to study roles and missions of the Department of Employment to accommodate changes, the project to drive the implementation of the Skill Development Promotion Act B.E. 2545 and its amendments, and the project of data integration and enhancement of e-Service of the Department of Labour Protection and Welfare, for example.
