On February 10, 2021, at 09.00 hours, Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr. Suthi Sukosol assigned Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr. Phairoj Chotikasathian, along with the Director of the Office of International Cooperation and representatives of the Department of Employment, to attend a meeting with the Military Commission, House of Representatives. The meeting took place at the Committee Meeting Room 408, 4th floor, Parliament Building.
Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr. Phairoj Chotikasathian reported the working management situation of Myanmar workers in Thailand and the need to hire migrant workers focusing on Myanmar workers under the MOU system amid the Covid-19 outbreak. The meeting also commented and analyzed the impact of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar that may affect Thailand and the Ministry of Labour’s supporting measures on working issues of Myanmar workers in Thailand.
