Content Description

On April 5, 2021, at 14.00 hours, Prime Minister General Prayuth Chan-ocha presided over the rental housing project’s opening ceremony for low-income groups, the “Baan Kheha Sukpracha” project (Chalong Krung and Romklao). The event was attended by Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin and Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr. Suthi Sukosol at Baan Kheha Sukpracha Project (Chalong Krung), Nong Chok, Bangkok.

Due to the Covid-19 situation, low-income people were affected by the recession. Minister of Social Development and Human Security Juti Krairuek assigned the National Housing Authority to focus on building more rental housing, to reduce the burden of expenses and create opportunities for people with low income to access housing. The National Housing Authority has prepared the rental house project for people with low income, launching the pilot project ‘Baan Kheha Sukpracha’ (Chalong Krung and Romklao) to provide assistance and build housing security for people with low incomes. The project also helps create a career and build the community’s economy under the concept of “have a house, a career, an income, and a happy life.” The lucky people who receive the rights to rent a house in the Baan Kheha Sukpracha Project (Chalong Krung) consist of five families who were granted leasehold rights. The management team witnessed the handover.
