Labour Minister M.R. Chatumongol Sonakul, Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr. Suthi Sukosol, Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr. Suradej Waleeittikul and Assistant to the Permanent Secretary of Labour Mrs. Phattana Phanfak attended a reception organized by the governor of Ehime Prefecture and the mayor of Matsuyama, Japan, on August 31, 2019. The event showcased local art and culture and the city’s renowned products such as towels and oranges. The Minister of Labour had the opportunity to meet with Director-General of the International Labour Organization (ILO) Mr. Guy Ryder, Indonesian Minister of Manpower H.E. Muhammad Hanif Dhakiri, representatives from the United States of America and representatives from the Embassy of Vietnam in Japan. The occasion was a good opportunity for Thailand to expand cooperation with G20 member countries.
