Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin joined the Special Economic Zone Development Policy Committee meeting through the VDO conference to drive the development of special economic zones towards sustainable development.
On May 21, 2021, at 13.30 hours, Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin joined the Special Economic Zone Development Policy Committee Meeting No. 1/2021 through the VDO conference. Prime Minister and Minister of Defense General Prayuth Chan-ocha chaired the meeting. The meeting had an important agenda to acknowledge the regulations of the Prime Minister’s Office on the development of special economic zones in 2021 and consideration on the drive for the development of special economic zones, the determination of the Special Economic Corridor, and the framework for granting benefits. The meeting also considered mechanisms driving the development of special economic zones. Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labour and Acting Director-General of the Department of Employment, Mr. Phairoj Chotikasathian, and the Ministry of Labour’s executives joined the meeting at the Sangsingkeaw meeting room, 5th floor, Ministry of Labour.
