On February 5, 2020, at 09.00 hours, Labour Minister M.R. Chatumongol Sonakul, presided over the meeting to listen to the opinions of plastic packaging manufacturing enterprises at the Nikom Chandravithu conference room, 5th floor, Department of Labour Protection and Welfare. The meeting gave information about the situation of waste and the use of plastic bags in Thailand, including the campaign to stop the use of plastic bags. The participants discussed the effects or problems faced by plastic packaging manufacturing enterprises that have been affected by reduced consumption of plastic bags and took comments and suggestions for solving problems faced by plastic packaging manufacturers.
