On September 22, 2020, at 13.30 hours, Deputy Permanent Secretary Ms. Aumpun Thuvavit chaired the second meeting of the Occupational Safety, Health, and Environment Committee for 2020. The meeting considered the background and elements for the appointment of the Provincial Occupational Safety, Health and Environment Subcommittee, and (Draft) Order of the Provincial Occupational Safety, Health and Environment Subcommittee, for 76 provinces. The meeting also appointed five additional subcommittees for drafting the standards of the law on occupational safety, health, and environment, proposing a list of two representatives from employer and employee sides, to be appointed as a subcommittee in for drafting the standards of occupational safety, health and environment laws, totaling five committees, and a request to amend/add orders on the Occupational Safety, Health and Environment Committee. The meeting took place at the Prof. Nikom Chandravithu Meeting Room, Department of Labour Protection and Welfare, Ministry of Labour.
