MOL Organizes 11th Blood Donation Event in Honour of His Majesty the King

          The Permanent Secretary of Labour gave an opening speech at the Ministry of Labour’s 11th blood donation event in honour of the royal coronation. The event promotes participants to realize sacrifices and do good deeds without expecting rewards in return.

          Today (December 20, 2019, at 10.30 hours, Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr. Suthi Sukosol presided over the commencement of the Ministry of Labour’s 11th blood donation event in honour of the royal coronation. He also visited and gave words of encouragement to blood donors at the Siam Steel Group, Phra Pradaeng, Samut Prakan. The Permanent Secretary said, “On the auspicious occasion of the royal coronation in 2019, the Ministry of Labour had determined to organize the activities. It has collaborated with government agencies and private organizations to organize events to honour and continue the royal aspiration of His Majesty the King, who wishes to develop the country for prosperity and ensure the people have a better life. It also supports blood supply to the Thai Red Cross, to help workers who experience dangers from work, as well as supports and encourages businesses and participants to realize sacrifices and good deeds to repay the land, with no hope of return.

          This activity targeted company employees from Siam Steel Group and blood donation participants totaling 150 people. The target is to host 15 blood donation events with three within the Ministry of Labour’s premises and 12 within companies’ premises, from May 4, 2019, to May 4, 2020.
