MOL Receives Eggs from Public and Private Sector, and Workplace Safety Network to Support People Impacted by COVID-19

          On August 8, 2021, Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin assigned Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr. Suthi Sukosol to receive 56,440 eggs from Betagro and Sunfood, together with the Workplace Safety Network, the Labour Protection and Welfare Office of Samut Prakan, Chachoengsao, Pathum Thani, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, and Samut Sakhon. The eggs were delivered to the Ministry of Labour to help those affected by COVID-19. Deputy Director-General of the Department of Labour Protection and Welfare, Mr. Wannarat Srisuksai, also joined the occasion, which took place at the foyer, ground flood, Ministry of Labour. Food and necessary items that the Ministry of Labour receives from the private sector and the Workplace Safety Network will be distributed to help those affected by COVID-19, such as camp workers in Bangkok and its vicinity, taxi drivers, including associations, charitable organizations, and community leaders, to be distributed to the people who have been affected by COVID-19.
          Mr. Suthi Said that today, the Ministry of Labour by the Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomlin assigned him to receive 56,440 eggs from the private sector, namely Betagro and Sunfood, together with the Workplace Safety Network, the Labour Protection and Welfare Office of Samut Prakan, Chachoengsao, Pathum Thani, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, and Samut Sakhon. The eggs will be distributed to help people impacted by COVID-19. The Labour Minister thanks the public and private sectors and the Workplace Safety Network for their willingness to help their fellow workers in difficult times. The efforts align with the Prime Minister’s intention and government policy of not leaving anyone behind.
