On September 16, 2019, at 13.30 hours, Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labour Pol. Maj. Romayong Surakitbanharn chaired the Skill Development Promotion Committee meeting. The meeting considered and approved the qualifications of the National Skill Standards participants, assessment standards, and the issuance of certificates certifying that participants have passed the National Skill Standard assessments. The consideration was for five industrial groups and 20 professions, comprising industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, electricians, electronics and computers, and industrial arts. The meeting also requested approval of the draft announcement of the Skill Development Promotion Committee on the classification and determination of the level of knowledge and competency, and the wage rate that is appropriate to the level of expertise and competence of professionals in 4 branches. The meeting took place at the Pakorn Angsusingha Meeting Room, 10th floor, Department of Skill Development.
