On August 8, 2019, at 14.30 hours, Labour Minister M.R. Chatumongol Sonakul chaired the State Enterprise Labour Relations Committee Meeting No. 3/2019, at the Department of Labour Protection and Welfare. The meeting’s agenda considered various issues, including amendments to the announcement of the State Enterprise Labour Relations Committee regarding the minimum standards of employment conditions in state enterprises. It also considered the Tourism Authority of Thailand’s request to improve the salary structure of the employees and appointment of a subcommittee to discuss the state of employment of state enterprises instead of vacancies. The fourth agenda was the proposal of employer and employee representatives to meet and choose among themselves as associate judges in the Labour Court of Region 3, 4, 5 and 9.
