MOL Takes Labour Missions Down South to Join People’s Station Project in Nakhon Si Thammarat

         The Ministry of Labour participated in booths for vocational training, career guidance, recruitment, social rights consultation, an exhibition on each agency’s mission and games with many giveaways. The event took place at the third People’s Station project at the Nakhon Si Thammarat Technical College Auditorium, Muang, Nakhon Si Thammarat. The event aimed to create jobs, careers, and enhance skills for people to earn income and have security in life.

 

 

         On September 13, 2019, the Ministry of Labour joined the third People’s Station project, with Thai PBS Television at the Nakhon Si Thammarat Technical College Auditorium, Muang, Nakhon Si Thammarat. Deputy Governor of Nakhon Si Thammarat Province Mr. Wirat Rakphan chaired the commencement, along with the Department of Employment’s Deputy Director-General Mrs. Theanrat Nawamawat who participated in the opening ceremony. The heads of government agencies under the Ministry of Labour and local government agencies in Nakhon Si Thammarat province also participated in the booths.
         The People’s Station project, with Thai PBS Television, is an activity organized to provide space for people to submit complaints, report clues in each area and access government agencies conveniently. It is also an opportunity to present problems and find solutions, as well as to provide public services such as job applications, vocational training, freelance demonstrations, and health checks, for example. Thai PBS Television is a medium for presenting problems in each area, and an intermediary in solving problems and finding creative solutions. The event hosts booths such as health checks, education from government agencies, clinics to resolve informal debt as well as giving away souvenirs and selling products from professional groups.
