Office of Labour Affairs in Japan joined the seminar on Thai trainees recruitment promotion at Hiroshima and visited Thai traniness.

           On 10 November 201, Mrs. Chantana Boonarj, Minister Counsellor on labour affairs and Mrs. Malee Wada, overseas employment promotion coordinator attended the seminar on Thai trainees recruitment promotion in Hiroshima and neighboring provinces according to the invitation from IM Japan. On 11 November 2011, they also called on Thai trainees and employers at 2 workplaces in Hiroshima.
1. The seminar on Thai trainees recruitment promotion in Hiroshima and neighboring provinces
 The objective of this seminar is to ensure the employers who accepted Thai trainees or considering to accept Thai worekrs the quality and productivity of them, presided over by Kyoei Yanagisawa, CEO of IM Japan. In this regard, Minister Counsellor (labour affairs) explained the location and geography, religious, regime, Thai behavior, MOL training selective system, and Office of Labour Affairs’activities for trainees to employers in order to be information for making a decision and trust in selective system. There were 15 excecutives from companies, including employers who accepted Indonesian trainees, participated in the seminar. In the last session, it opended for discussion and questions about Thailand for employers.
 2. Visiting Thai trainees and employers in workplaces namely Kitagawa Iron Works Co.,Ltd. and Taguchi Foundry Co.,Ltd. employing 17 Thai workes totally. On this occasion, Office of Labour Affairs in Japan deleivered books and blankets received from Royal Thai Embassy in Tokyo to Thai workes to boost their moral.
