Office of Labour Affairs in Riyard takes part in ASEAN sport competition

Embassies of ASEAN member countries in Saudi Arabia jointly organizes a multi-sport competition aimed at boosting ties among participating nations and fostering solidarity among civil servants. The event is held annually and each ASEAN member country takes turn in hosting each sport competition.
 
Vietnam hosted a golf competition, which took place on 17 April 2011. Brunei was the winner and Thailand finished the competition in 4th place.
 
Myanmar was chosen as the host of a golf competition (Lady putting), which took place on 17 April 2011. Thailand was the winner of the competition.
 
Brunei hosted a footsal competition on 18 May 2011. Brunei was the winner and the Royal Thai Embassy finished the competition in 3rd place.
 
Malaysia hosted a dart competition which took place on 25 May 2011. Philippine team was the winner and the Royal Thai Embassy finished in 6th place.
 
Office of Labour Affairs in Riyard has sent its civil servants and staff to participate in all these competitions, which were aimed to enhance good relationships among participating countries and facilitate the building of ASEAN community.
