The Permanent Secretary of Labour commenced the Learning and Training Center for the Toyota Workers Union in Chachoengsao to strengthen labour relations and prepare workers to adapt to the environment. It also instills commitment to cooperate with employers in the development of the national economy and industrial business development to meet international standards.
Today (November 12, 2019) at 11.30 hours, Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr. Suthi Sukosol presided over the opening ceremony of the Learning and Training Center of the Toyota Thailand Workers Union, in Song Khlong, Bang Pakong, Chachoengsao. The Permanent Secretary of Labour said that “The Toyota Thailand Workers Union is an employee organization that has been established for 38 years now. It started from the unity and reconciliation of members that help push the administration of labour unions and has been operating for long now. Most recently, it established the Learning and Training Center for the Toyota Workers Union in Thailand, as a place to organize activities and provide knowledge to union members. It is a source of learning and development of guidelines for creating a good and lasting labour relations system for union members to prepare for future labour situations.”
“The stated purpose of the establishment has shown that the union management committee realizes and focuses on human resource development to develop the potential of union members to have the ability to think critically and creatively. It also promotes improved relations between labour unions and employers. The Ministry of Labour sincerely hopes that the Toyota Thailand Workers Union’s Learning and Training Center will be an important part in promoting worker unions to operate on good relations, rationality, and strengthen the labour relations system. It hopes that the center prepares workers to adapt to the environment, as well as instills commitment to cooperate with employers in the national economic and industrial business development to meet international standards.”
