Permanent Secretary of Labour Leads Officials to Join Auspicious Merit-Making Ceremony

        On September 18, 2019, at 18.00 hours, Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr. Suthi Sukosol led government officials from agencies under the Ministry of Labour to attend the auspicious merit-making ceremony for H.R.H Prince Mahidol Adulyadej, H.M. King Bhumibol Adulyadej, and H.M. Queen Sirikit. Acting President of the Privy Council General Surayud Chulanont and representative of the royal family presided over the ceremony. Prime Minister General Prayuth Chan-ocha and wife, along with the Cabinet members participated in the service at the Dusit Royal Palace courtyard, Bangkok.
        His Majesty the King graciously invited a sacred Buddha image enshrined as the principal Buddha image in the ceremony, to allow people to pay respects and to bring good to themselves and the nation. Participants also join the royal aspiration of “Dharma Queen” of H.M. Queen Sirikit, who graciously published a book to give to the people who joined the prayers together.
