President of “Anusee Institute for Unity” Donates Wheelchairs to Help the Disabled and Elderly in Samut Sakhon

           A spokesperson for the Labour Commission Ms. Anusee Tubsuwan as the ‘President of Anusee Institute for Unity” and committee donated ten wheelchairs to disabled and elderly people in Samut Sakhon Province.

           On July 17, 2020, Spokesperson for the Labour Commission Ms. Anusee Tubsuwan as the ‘President of the Anusee Institute for Unity’ chaired the ceremony in donating ten wheelchairs for the disabled and the elderly in Khok Kham, Mueang, Samut Sakhon. Advisor to the Labour Minister Mr. Kankavee Tubsuwan, Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labour Mrs. Thienrat Nawamawat, the Social Security Office’s Deputy Secretary-General Ms. Bubpha Rueangsud, the provincial social development and human security officer, director of the Center for the Homeless, local government organizations and the head of government departments under the Ministry of Labour from Samut Sakhon province also joined the occasion.

           M.P. Anusee and committee visited the area to give goods and encouragement to an elderly and dependent person, namely, Mrs. Pha Mekmok, aged 85 years, residing at 76/8 Moo 5, Khok Kham, Mueang, Samut Sakhon. She lives with her daughter and family and currently has a congenital disease in that she is unable to sit as she has lumbar degeneration, back pain, and insomnia. For help, agencies from the Ban Khmer Health Promotion Hospital visited her for support by analyzing her symptoms. The Khok Kham Administration Organization provided an allowance for the elderly and traveled to get medical treatment at Samut Sakhon Hospital.

           The committee then visited a disabled and dependent person to give items and morale, namely Master Sittipol Rodchai, aged four years and six months, residing at 76/12, Moo 5, Khok Kham, Mueang, Samut Sakhon. He was born with a disability from suffocation with amniotic fluid at birth, due to cerebral palsy. He is unable to help himself, and food is inserted through the stomach, with tubes in his throat to breathe. The Khok Kham Subdistrict Administrative Organization supported him with disability allowances at 800 Baht per month, and he has received diapers and milk from kind-hearted people and foundations. Currently, there is no income problem as his mother, the household income provider is giving birth, and is unable to support the family.
