          In December, 2010, Manpower Inc, a world leader in employment service industry reveals its first quarter 2011 global hiring demand by pointing that those Taiwan employers are the third strongest hiring plan in Asian and Global markets inferior to India and China. For the first quarter 2011, Taiwan has a net employment outlook at 37% which is the highest figure since operating the survey. Based on the data, Finance, Insurance and Real Estate industries have strongest hiring intentions.
 

 
          The report regarding the interview of almost 1,000 Taiwan employers shows that 35% of those employers expect a rise in hiring plan, while only 3% plan to cut their staffs and 60% indicated that they will keep staff numbers unchanged. With a removal of seasonal variation, the net employment outlook is at 37% except the employers in transportation and Utilities, the other 5 industry sectors expect the pace of hiring to increase in a year-over-year comparison. Moreover, finance, insurance, estate, manufacturing and construction and mine industries are ranked in the top-three positions for the hiring demand.
          From the global expectation in the first quarter 2011, it shows the positive sign of hiring plans and employers in 32 of 39 countries and territories look ahead to increase their staffs. According to the data, it can be assumed that 80% of countries interviewed have intended to hire more employees and the employers in Asia Pacific region are ranked at top-five positions of the global employment demand.
