On Saturday 1st January 2010, 500 Thai people and workers altogether turned out at Samhar Setia Building in Bandar district to have fun and lunch together. The activity was organized to help Thai people and workers maintain positive attitude and boost their morale after a long-working period away from home.

 

 

            This activity occurred as the result of the cooperation among Thai entrepreneurs, Thai People Association, and Office of Labour Affairs in Brunei, Royal Thai Embassy. Numerous activities were held to entertain and give knowledge to visitors.  There were also variety of Thai food, fruits, and beverage providing to visitors on the day. The activist is held annually for the third consecutive year. Expenses incurred from this activity are not covered by the government budget.

 

 

            Mr. Anachak Sutayon, Minister Counselor of Labour of the Office of Labour Affiars in Brunei, expresses his appreciation to the following Thai entrepreneurs and executive directors of Thai People Association for their support in the organization of the activity: Mr. Precha Kabnuntha and family from Dee Thai Agency Company (a money transfer and retail shop); Khun Tak and Khun Eak from Thai Zone Shop (a retail shop); Pa Gha and family from Yai-Yai Restaurant; Khun Ning and family from Sawadee Restaurant; Khun Thanwa, Khun Yaowaluk, Khun Songkiat and family from Manchu Garage; Khun Somkiat and Family from Ruan Thai Garage;  Khun Pissamai Wongkeaw from Jewelry Shop, Khun Chatchai Amonthap and family; Khun Somboon, and Khun Pimjai; Khun Bhuddee, Mr. Robert, Mr. Pang as well as all Thai people who helped to oversee the active and provide warm services.
