The Ministry of Labor sent the inspector to visit Thai workers in Germany

          On May 4, 2018, Mr. Wichai Kongratanachat, Chief Inspector of the Ministry of Labor Along with Mrs. Thianrat Nawamawat, Inspector General Department of Employment Workers at the Royal Thai Embassy in Berlin and the delegation visited Thai massage workers and owners of “Ban Chang” in Berlin, Germany.
          Mr. Wichai Kongratanachart, Chief Inspector of the Ministry of Labor, told the owner of the Thai spa “Ban Chang” spa and Thai massage therapist. Pol. Gen. Adul Sangsingkeo, Minister of Labor, is concerned about the well-being and occupation of Thai workers in Germany. The inspector and the delegate came to visit and recognize the need to help the workers. The question of whether the store owner and employees ask the Ministry of Labor to provide professional training courses in Germany such as Thai massage (Thai, Sappaya and Western Spa), hand and foot spa treatment, and carving. This massage spa has created a lot of income for entrepreneurs and massage workers to feed themselves and their families. According to the statistics of the Royal Thai Embassy in Berlin in April 2018, there were Thai immigrants living in Germany. There are 58,820 registered people in Thailand. There are hundreds of Thai massage practitioners in Germany. Thai workers can send money back to Thailand at least 30,000 per month per person. The income returned to Thailand at least 3,000 million per month.
          Mr. Wichai added: The Ministry of Labor and the Department of Labor at the Royal Thai Embassy in Berlin will continue to develop skills that are needed by the Thai people in order for Thai workers in Germany to have the skills, career, income, quality of life, and return to the country.
