Today (October 1, 2020) at 10.00 hours, Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin assigned the Ministry of Labour’s Secretary-General Mr. Suthep Chitvong to welcome the Trade Association of Labour Contractors Committee, to congratulate and give fruit baskets on the occasion of the Labour Minister taking office, and to discuss various issues regarding the Emergency Decree on the Management of Work for Foreigners B.E. 2560 (amendment version B.E. 2561). The meeting requested amendments to the Emergency Decree for B.E. 2561 in some sections that are problems to the economy and society. It asked that labour or wage contractors who are foreign workers, be considered to work in businesses. To bring relevant facts to acknowledgment, the Committee focuses on solving problems for the public and for fairness to all businesses, which are supporting service businesses as a driving force in the industrial sector. The meeting took place at the Prasong Rananant meeting room, 5th floor, Ministry of Labour.
