On September 3, 2021, at 10.30 hours, the Labour Minister’s Advisor, Mrs. Thiwalrat Angkinan, and Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labour Ms. Aumphun Thuwawit as Deputy President of the Ministry of Labour’s Housewives Association, supported blood donors at the “Workers Unite to Donate Blood; One Donor, Many Recipients” event No. 3/2021. The visit encouraged the blood donors to donate blood regularly every three months to ensure sufficient blood donations for patients across the country. This is the third blood donation activity in 2021. On August 30, 2021, at 14.30 hours, Assistant Minister from the Prime Minister’s Office, performing duties at the Ministry of Labour, Mr. Pornsak Charoenprasert, presided over the project’s closing ceremony to resolve occupational issues in the 2021 fiscal year in Sisaket Province. Advisor to the Labour Minister Mr. Thanakrit Jirivipakorn and the heads of government agencies under the Ministry of Labour of Sisaket Province, members of the Council of Provincial Administrative Organizations from Sisaket District 2, Mr. Parichot Jaruratakul and Samrong Subdistrict Headsman Mr. Pairote Thongpab, also joined the closing ceremony. The Ministry of Labour has supported the budget for two activities in Samrong and Khae Sub-Districts, Udomphon Phisai District, Sisaket Province, to help people in the areas affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, natural disasters, and suffered from occupational difficulties amid the economic crisis and unemployment. On July 9, 2021, Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin assigned the Ministry of Labour’s Inspector-General Ms. Bubpha Rueangsud, to visit the area to deliver food and consumables to workers in the construction camp of Duangwan Building Co., Ltd. at Soi Inthamara 1, in front of Laplae Community. The visit donated 200 food boxes from the Safety at Work Promotion Association to construction camp workers at Soi Vibhavadi 20, led by the Deputy Director-General of the Department of Labour Protection and Welfare, Mr. Wannarat Srisuksai. The Safety at Work Promotion Association team also joined the occasion. Ms. Bubpha said that according to the media, the news talks about the excruciating lives of camp workers sleeping in tents with hot conditions and rain, lacking money and food. The meeting considered the amendments to the duties and powers, including the components of the subcommittee for solving the problems of the masses, the appointment of three subcommittees under the supervisory committee for solving the problems of the masses as follows: the subcommittee on resolving farmers’ issues to help the nation, the subcommittee on solving issues of the Northeastern Agricultural Assembly and a subcommittee on screening matters for proposals to committees involved in solving problems of mass groups.
