The Social Security Office’s Appeal Committee was established under the Social Security Act B.E. 2533. The Labour Minister, Mr. Suchart Chomklin, spoke about the Facebook post by the Royal Thai Embassy in Lisbon, Portugal, which reported news that a Thai worker collecting shellfish in Portugal died in a water accident on September 23. On September 21, 2022, the Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Boonchob Suttamanaswong, assigned the Assistant to the Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Samat Pattamasukon, presided over the opening ceremony of a workshop to expand knowledge from the Labour and Social Protection Network (LSPN), at the Novotel Sriracha, Chonburi Province. The Ministry of Labour joins forces with an MOU to drive Good Labour Practices (GLP) between the Department of Labour Protection and Welfare (DLPW), the Thai Chamber of Commerce, and the Board of Trade of Thailand to enhance labour management. The Labour Minister, Mr. Suchart Chomklin, gave a speech after presiding over and witnessing the Memorandum of Understanding on Good Labour Practices (GLP) signing ceremony on September 15, 2022, at the meeting room on the 5th floor of the Ministry of Labour. The visit took place in Tervola, Finland. For the Thai wild fruit pickers, it is the off-season for farming and harvesting agricultural products in Thailand. These workers earn an average of around one hundred thousand Baht.
