Labour Minister Assigns Advisor to Meet with Government Agency Heads to Support Youths and Adaptability in Work to Promote Confidence in Phetchaburi

          Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin assigned his Advisor to visit Phetchaburi to meet with government agencies’ heads under the Ministry of Labour in Phetchaburi. The meeting aimed to build confidence in people in the area, to take care of youths in Thailand’s southern border provinces working in companies according to the systematic labour migration project, to ensure adaptability to work.
          On December 8, 2020, Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin assigned Advisor to the Labour Minister Mrs. Thiwalrat Angkinan, to preside over the meeting of the Ministry of Labour’s heads of government agencies in Phetchaburi. The meeting took place at the Phetchaburi Provincial Employment Office meeting room, Muang, Phetchaburi. The Labour Minister’s Advisor said that the Prime Minister emphasizes the promotion of employment to help people affected by Covid-19 quickly return to employment, earn an income, and promote economic recovery. The Ministry of Labour under supervision by Deputy Prime Minister General Prawit Wongsuwan, as the supervisor of the Southern Border Provinces Administrative Center (SBPAC), has emphasized employment promotion, especially among young people in the southern border provinces who unemployed. THE SBPAC and the Ministry of Labour’s agencies in the three southern border provinces, including Pattani, Yala, and Narathiwat, have integrated a systematic labour movement program. It is considered a guideline to solve unemployment in the area and labour shortages problem in Thailand and aims to create peace within the three southern provinces.
          Mrs. Thiwalrat said that Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin reported that everyone is concerned about the youths and afraid that they will not be able to work for a long time because of different areas, religion, distance from family, and fear of alienation; therefore, he has emphasized for agencies under the Ministry of Labour in the area to help build confidence in the people and create sustainability promote adaptation to work in Phetchaburi. It also aims to solve the unrest in the area, as the state prioritizes all the children. When it comes to the agencies, people in the area and the families of these children will continue to have a positive attitude towards the government sector for all Thai people.
