Labour Minister Assigns Assistant Minister to PM to Drive MOL Policies in Yasothon and Amnat Charoen

          Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin assigned Assistant Minister to the Prime Minister performing duties at the Ministry of Labour, to visit Yasothon and Amnat Charoen, driving missions following the Labour Minister’s policies. He emphasized giving the most benefit to the people in the area to meet set targets.

          On December 22, 2020, at 10.00 hours, Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin assigned Assistant Minister from the Prime Minister’s Office performing duties at the Ministry of Labour Mr. Pornsak Charoenprasert and committee, to visit Yasothon. He chaired the meeting of heads of government agencies under the Ministry of Labour to follow up on the missions of the Labour Minister at the Khao Horm Mali Insee Conference Room, 3rd floor, Yasothon City Hall. The Ministry of Labour’s Inspector-General Mrs. Pattana Phanfak, also joined the visit. Deputy Governor of Yasothon Mr. Suwat Khemphet gave a welcoming. At 14.00 hours, he chaired the heads of government agencies’ meeting under the Ministry of Labour in Amnat Charoen, at the ISOC meeting room, 2nd floor, City Hall, Amnat Charoen. The Assistant Minister to the Prime Minister performing duties at the Ministry of Labour emphasized that agencies under the Ministry of Labour are proactive in working together to drive the Labour Minister’s policies to meet the specified goals, driving the most benefit to the people. This includes providing job openings for new graduates (Co-payment) to stimulate the economy of the province. He also asked the participants to promote more informal workers to apply for Social Security under Section 40 and for the five labour leaders to prepare to cope with the Covid-19 outbreak by educating employers and employees about the spread of the virus with migrant workers, promoting the use of surgical masks and hand sanitizer, as well as adhering to various measures strictly.
