Labour Minister Assigns Secretariat to Discuss with Companies and Follow Up Progress of Recruitment from JOB EXPO

          The Labour Minister assigned his Secretariat to meet with companies to follow up on recruitment progress following the JOB EXPO THAILAND 2020. He listened to problems and obstacles, including recommendations for considering work from companies directly, including ways to resolve problems and achieve the set goal. The efforts are in line with the government’s policy to promote employment and drive the economy after Covid-19 resolves for a speedy recovery.
          On November 9, 2020, Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin assigned the Labour Minister’s Secretariat Mr. Suthep Chitayavong, to chair the meeting to follow up on recruitment following the JOB EXPO THAILAND 2020 project, at the Jompol P Pibulsongkram meeting room, 5th floor, Ministry of Labour. The Ministry of Labour’s senior executives also joins the occasion. The Labour Minister’s Secretariat said that Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin thanked employers and all companies who joined in the booths to recruit people at JOB EXPO THAILAND 2020. He said that today, he was assigned by the Labour Minister to meet and monitor the progress under the said project.
          Mr. Suthep said that for today’s meeting, in addition to following up on results, it was also a chance to gain feedback on problems and obstacles, including recommendations for consideration of work, from the companies directly, including solutions to problems. He said that the Labour Minister and Ministry of Labour’s executives all attach great importance to this matter, in order to achieve the set objectives and goals, in line with the government’s policy to promote the employment of the people and accommodate new graduates. The efforts contribute to creating jobs, careers, and income, which will improve people’s quality of life and drive the economy after Covid-19 resolves, to recover quickly and promote stability, prosperity, and sustainably.
