Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin and Assistant to the Labour Minister visited Ubon Ratchathani to give money from social security benefits in assisting two insurers with disabilities; the cash amount was worth over 200,000 Baht. They also gave out items for morale and encouragement in their daily life.
On October 10, 2020, the Labour Minister, together with the Assistant Minister from the Prime Minister’s Office performing duties at the Ministry of Labour Mr. Pornsak Charoenprasert, visited Ubon Ratchathani. Deputy Governor of Ubon Ratchathani Mr. Supasit Korcharoenyot and heads of government agencies under the Ministry of Labour gave a welcoming, to meet the two insured persons with disabilities, to monitor their quality of life, and give items for morale and encouragement. The first person was Mr. Athitsak Saengngam, 36, residing at No. 87, Moo 10, Ban Tha Chang Noi, Tha Chang, Sawang Wirawong, Ubon Ratchathani. He has been an insured person with disabilities due to weak limbs, diagnosed with myositis. His current symptoms are that he gets tired easily, but he can help himself daily. He became a person with disabilities on July 1, 2016, and is entitled to receive compensation for lack of income in the event of disability, in the amount of 2,400 Baht per month, for life. He has received money from July 2016 to September 2020, totaling 122,400 Baht.
The second person was Mr. Sunthorn Thuleepong, 46, residing at No. 150, Moo 2, Tha Chang, Sawang Virawong, Ubon Ratchathani. He has been an insured person with disabilities due to falling in a motorcycle accident on April 18, 2016. The accident caused his brain to swell. Today, he can help himself in his daily activities and communicate normally, but still has memory problems. He became a person with disabilities on May 4, 2016, entitled to compensation for lack of income in the event of disability, in the amount of 2,400 Baht per month for life. He has received money from May 2016 to September 2020, totaling 110,240 Baht.
