Representatives of the Security Operators Network met with the Labour Minister to present issues faced by companies and workers, and the effect of labour laws on the security service business sector.
On September 8, 2020, at 13.30 hours, Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin, Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr. Suthi Sukosol and Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labour Mrs. Theanrat Nawamawat, welcomed the President of the Asia-Pacific Association and the Security Operators Network of Thailand Dr. Wanlop Kingchansilp, on a meeting to discuss the impact of labour laws on security businesses and the need for urgent assistance in the field of laws for people with disabilities, to be fair to the security service sector. He proposed for the Ministry of Labour to provide assistance, except for the enforcement of ministerial regulations prescribing the number of persons with disabilities that employers, business owners, or government agencies must employ, and the subsequent contributions that must be made to the Fund for Promotion and Development of the Quality of Life of Persons with Disabilities B.E. 2554. The meeting took place at the Chatumongkol Room, 6th floor, Ministry of Labour.
