Labour Minister’s Advisor Delivers Policies to Officials Under MOL Agencies in Narathiwat Focusing on Creating Value, Knowledge and Income Among Independent Workers

          Advisor to the Labour Minister presided over the meeting to deliver policies and guidelines to the heads of government agencies in Narathiwat. The policies focused on arming independent workers with knowledge, the promotion of products with added value for self-employed groups and for workers to have a career and a good quality of life.
 
 
 On November 28, 2019, at 09.00 hours, Advisor to the Labour Minister Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jak Punchoopet chaired the meeting to deliver policies and guidelines to the heads of government agencies in Narathiwat. The meeting took place at Than Ngoen room, Rim Nam Restaurant, Muang, Narathiwat. Deputy Governor of Narathiwat Province Mr. Pairote Jaritngam, Narathiwat Provincial Labour Officer Mr. Boon-loi Khatilil and heads of government agencies under the Ministry of Labour in Narathiwat welcomed the visiting committee. Director from the Office of Inspection and Evaluation Ms. Pattraporn Samatrat also joined the occasion. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jak Punchoopet delivered the policies and working guidelines, whereby Labour Minister M.R. Chatumongol Sonakul emphasized labour reform, promotion, the movement of foreign labour following agreements with the origin country, arming independent workers with knowledge to promote the creation of products of self-employed groups to have more added value and promotion of Thai workers to work abroad to bring income and knowledge back to develop the country. The policies also covered training in accordance with the skill standards program, with a greater emphasis on integration with the private sector in training, as the private sector is equipped with modern tools, as well as to create morale for the speakers or teachers, to have skilled teachers that meet the needs.
          Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jak and committee visited booths to display product work of independent workers and gave suggestions on creating value-added products for independent workers in Narathiwat, to boost morale for independent workers in the area.
