Ministry of Labor Attended the meeting to consider the EEC-supported labor management plan

          H.E. Police General Adul Sangsingkeo, Minister of Labor chaired the meeting to support the development of the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) of the Ministry of Labor at the Conference Room, 5th Floor, Ministry of Labor.

 

 
 

          The EEC Area Development Plan, as approved by the Committee on Development Policy, Eastern Region Economic Corridor No. 1/2560 on April 5, 2017, consisted of 8 action plans as follows: 1) Infrastructure 2) Target Industries 3) Human Resources Development and Technology 4) Tourism development and promotion 5) New urban development and community 6) Development of business centers and financial centers 7) Build relationships and processes involved in the project with the public 8) irrigated agriculture and the environment.
          The Ministry of Labor operated in accordance with the EEC 2 Area Development Plan, the Action Plan from all eight Action Plans: Action Plan 3: Development of personnel, education, research, and technology. Provide short-term training courses to those who want to increase their work skills in the target industry. Establishment of professional standards and medium-term development guidelines. Develop human resources in line with labor demand in 10 industries, with a target of 512,210 workers, 26,128 labor demand surveys, 203,960 job vacancies, and Action Plan 6, business center and financial center development. Both tax-related benefits and other benefits. 224,545 workers were employed in labor protection, 40,260 workers were trafficked, 18 offices were assigned to the Mini Office of the Social Security Office, 19,900 people were trained in health promotion, disease prevention and dissemination.
