Content Description

On June 26, 2019, at 10.00 hours, Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr. Suradej Waleeittikul presided over the closing of the “Labour Management” training course, presenting certificates to trainees at the Kalong Room, Pung Waan Resort and Spa, Muang, Kanchanaburi.
He said that on the journey of management, executives often face different problems and obstacles vary. The qualities of a good executive required for a smooth, stable and prosperous management path and executives must have a strong heart, patience, be willing to sacrifice, dedication, commitment, duty of work with honesty, integrity, and fairness with morality and ethics, with the goal of success that responds to the public’s happiness. He said that the nation is the location, and when the training is complete, it is not about each person going their ways or just documenting projects to keep. The lessons should be practices and used for the benefit of the people. Mr. Suradech said that he hopes the trainees in the same batch work together as a network and become a driving force to deliver the Ministry of Labour’s missions to success.

The training started on June 17, 2019, and concluded today, totaling 10 days or 71 hours of training. The 50 attendees included civil service agents at the specialist level from all units within the Ministry of Labour and Office of the Prime Minister. The concluded report on the training included the following: every trainee showed interest and participation in discussions, expressing opinions with the speakers and trainees regularly. Practice session: divided the participants into 5 groups so that each group brought knowledge gained from the training into academic work, which can be applied to the job they are responsible for. All groups collaborated as a team effectively and were able to brainstorm, analyze, and produce work and present the work within the specified timeframe. The results from the speakers showed that the work of all groups was outstanding and all trainees had assessment scores for academic knowledge tests and practice in preparing academic work, with a total of over 75 percent. Participants were also interested in increasing the management experience. The training also included a study visit to a thriving private sector agency and cooperation in various activities. Attendees had a participation rate of 90 percent of the time, which reflected in the results from the academic evaluation of both individual knowledge testing and educational work, which was a practical part of each group. Therefore, there is confidence that the trainees in this model will be able to apply knowledge, skills and experience in various fields transferred from the speaker, from the study visit and intensive practice to use to perform duties on the job.
