MOL Commences “Labour Eyes” Project to Support and Create Participation from the People

          On August 24, 2021, at 09.00 hours, Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr. Suthi Sukosol presided over the opening of the “Labour Eyes” project to support and create public participation in anti-corruption for the second batch of participants. The occasion took place via the Zoom online platform. Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr. Suchart Pornchaiwisetkun, Assistant to the Permanent Secretary of Labour Ms. Pattraporn Samantarat, and Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mrs. Tongjai Suthat Na Ayutthaya, also joined the occasion. The project aims to develop skills and knowledge for the Provincial Labour Office’s civil servants/officers, anti-corruption labour volunteers, and public sector networks who have been trained in anti-corruption with the Ministry of Labour. The participants will have the ability to become a speaker to transfer knowledge and disseminate information to raise awareness of fraud and misconduct prevention, build a network for monitoring, and report corruption at the local level.
          The Permanent Secretary of Labour said the Ministry of Labour had given importance to building an anti-corruption culture and is determined to develop cooperation and integration between the government and people sectors to encourage people and other members of society to prevent corruption. The initiative operates through a training mechanism to create a fraud prevention network throughout the region every year to promote awareness, surveillance, and whistleblowing of corruption. The project is divided into two batches of 152 people, each from 76 provinces, and will lead all trainees to become aware of and fight against corruption in all forms. He thanked the lecturers, government network partners, especially all people’s networks with the intention and sacrifice of time to join the training and the anti-corruption network with the Ministry of Labour.
