MOL Creates Employer Information Database to Welcome e-Government Services

                On March 4, 2020, at 09.30 hours, Secretariat to the Labour Minister Lt. Gen. Nanthadet Meksawat chaired the opening ceremony of the process adjustment project for the preparation of employer files, and a workshop for the staff to create electronic employer files. Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labour Mrs. Theanrat Nawamawat joined the opening ceremony, whereby the Social Security Office’s Secretariat Mr. Todsaphon Kritwongwiman gave a report. The occasion took place at the Rama Gardens Hotel, Bangkok. The Labour Minister’s Secretariat said that Labour Minister M.R. Chatumongol Sonakul had delivered urgent policies in 2020 to expedite the “Workforce Transformation,” and essential policies in raising the level of service to people to access services with convenience, speed, transparency, and through many channels, to adhere to good governance. The Social Security Office has, therefore, adopted the said policy. The project aims to reform the system and practices by converting paper documents to electronic forms by using technology innovation in data management, which is called “electronic files” to manage information for employers, employees and insurers nationwide. The database will have up to 926,183 files to be able to search, access and provide information quickly and conveniently while raising the level of electronic services to the digital government and access to various services for a comprehensive system.

                In this regard, training on the process adjustment project, the creation of employer files and workshop for staff to create electronic employer files are essential, so that all Social Security Office staff can access the information stored in electronic form and can provide employers, employees, insurers and the general public with ease, speed, and converting all details to facilitate. The training program for the project is scheduled to be held on March 3 and 4, 2020, in two batches of 150 students each.
