The Labour Minister witnessed the Memorandum of Understanding signing ceremony for the “integrated project on the development of the quality of life of vulnerable home worker groups between 12 ministries as 1 unit” to drive solutions to poverty and improve the quality of life of vulnerable groups in an integrated and continuous manner. The effort also aims to resolve problems holistically and sustainably in all dimensions.
On March 3, 2021, at 09.30 hours, Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin joined as a witness of the Memorandum of Understanding signing ceremony for the “integrated project on the development of the quality of life of vulnerable home worker groups between 12 ministries as 1 unit”. The ministries include The Office of the Prime Minister, Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Social Development and Human Security, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Tourism and Sports, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives, Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Labour, Ministry of Culture, Ministry of Public Health and the Bangkok Administration. Prime Minister and Minister of Defense General Prayuth Chan-ocha presided over the ceremony at Phakdee Bodin Building, Government Houses. As for the Ministry of Labour, Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr. Suthi Sukosol co-signed on this occasion. The government under the leadership of Prime Minister and Minister of Defense General Prayuth Chan-ocha, and the Ministry of Labour under the supervision of Deputy Prime Minister General Prawit Wongsuwan, emphasize solutions to poverty, especially the integration to sustainable development for a better quality of life among vulnerable people in all dimensions.
The scope of cooperation of the Ministry of Labour is a domestic employment service for vulnerable people to have a job and income that is suitable for living. It also serves to provide guidance and promotion of occupation, including developing vulnerable households to have the knowledge and ability to work following the labour market demands.
