September 23, 2025 – Mr. Samat Pattamasukon, Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labour, presided over the opening of the seminar to formulate operational guidelines and the annual action plan for the Ministry of Labour for the fiscal year 2026. Ms. Warunee Langkapin, Director of the Strategy and Planning Division, delivered the report. The seminar was attended by senior executives, heads of government agencies under the Ministry of Labour, both at central and regional levels, as well as labour attachés abroad. August 25, 2025, at 13.30 hours – Mr. Jakkrapong Sumetchotimetha, Advisor to the Minister of Labour, chaired the meeting of the Working Group on Enhancing the Potential of Thai Workers and Expanding Overseas Labour Markets. Participants included Lt. Cdr. Vittavat Koodprasert, Advisor to the Labour Minister, Mr. Samat Pattamasukon, Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labour, senior executives from the Ministry of Labour, and representatives of relevant agencies. The session was presided over by Mr. Phumtham Wechayachai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, who is currently acting as Prime Minister, together with members of the Cabinet, at Santi Maitri Building, Government House. The event served as a platform for children and youth networks to voice their perspectives and submit policy recommendations directly to the Prime Minister and Cabinet. On July 31, 2025, at 13.30 hours, Mr. Pongkawin Jungrungruangkit, Minister of Labour, visited Surin Province to distribute relief bags to residents affected by the unrest along the Thai–Cambodian border at Surindra Rajabhat University and Rajamangala University of Technology Isan, Surin Campus, in Mueang District, Surin.
