            On November 24, 2022, at 13.00 hours, the Labour Minister, Mr. Suchart Chomklin, assigned Assistant to the Labour Minister, Mr. Surachai Chaitrakulthong, to deliver a special speech on “Thai Workers in Condominium-Related Businesses” at the opening ceremony of the seminar on “Dissecting the Condominium Business Strategy for 2023”. The event was organized to drive the country’s real estate business for continuous and sustainable growth. Labour Minister Visits Songkhla to Commence Social Security Academic Conference to Elevate the Quality of Life for Workers in the Southern Economic and Tourism Sectors

          On November 23, 2022, the Labour Minister, Mr. Suchart Chomklin, chaired the Social Security Academic Conference for 5 Regions 2022 (Southern Region) entitled Modernizing SSO 2022: Driving Towards A Modern Social Security System. He gave a special lecture, “Policy for development and upgrading the workforce’s lives .”The Social Security Office’s Secretary-General, Mr. Boonsong Thapchaiyut, the Ministry of Labour’s executives, the Deputy Provincial Governor of Songkhla, Lieutenant General Phut Kritkongphan, and heads of government agencies under the Ministry of Labour in Songkhla Province gave a welcome at the Laguna Grand Hotel and Spa Songkhla, Songkhla Province.           Mr. Suchart said that the event’s purpose was to enhance knowledge and understanding of the importance of social security work for stakeholders. Labour Minister Responds to APEC Agreement and Accelerates Training for Oil Well Drillers to Send Thai Workers to Saudi Arabia

         On November 23, 2022, the Labour Minister, Mr. Suchart Chomklin, visited and encouraged trainees in the petroleum industry’s labour competency enhancement project to drive the economy and restore relations with Saudi Arabia. Labour Minister Shows Concern for Bombing in Narathiwat Police Flat and Instructs SSO to Support Injured Insured Persons

        The Labour Minister, Mr. Suchart Chomklin, spoke about a criminal bombing at a police flat on Suriya Pradit Road, Muang District, Narathiwat Province, on the afternoon of November 22. The incident caused the death of one police officer and injured many others. As soon as he heard the news, Prime Minister General Prayuth Chan-ocha expressed his concern and regret about the incident. He urged relevant agencies to speed up investigations to help those affected as soon as possible. The Labour Minister has instructed the Ministry of Labour’s Social Security Office to investigate and provide immediate assistance to the insured victims. The Narathiwat Provincial Social Security Office’s investigation found that four insured persons were injured in the incident. The first was Mrs. Nida Chanapan, insured under Section 33, who was injured and admitted to the Narathiwat Rajanagarindra Hospital. The second was Mr. Chancharin Mayuso, an insured person under Section 40, who was injured and admitted to the Narathiwat Rajanagarindra Hospital. Labour Minister Takes PM Orders to Provide 1.2M Baht in Compensation to Support the Employee Who Lost Organs from Performing Work Duties

          On November 15, 2022, the Labour Minister, Mr. Suchart Chomklin, provided compensation in the case of loss of income and loss of organs due to work to Mr. Nattaphon Dechkessarin, an employee who had an accident while driving a car where he crashed into a construction line in Samut Sakhon Province. The Ministry of Labour’s executives also joined the occasion at the Chatumongkol Room, 6th floor, Ministry of Labour.           Mr. Suchart said that Mr. Nattaphon Detketsarin, 41, is an employee who is a driver of Chokomorn Logistics Co., Ltd., a freight forwarding business located at No. 502/541 Soi Dechatungka 1, Dechatungka Road, Sikan Subdistrict, Don Mueang District, Bangkok. He was involved in an accident when a truck crashed into a concrete block of a construction site on Rama 2 Road near the bridge over Tha Chalom River, Samut Sakhon Province. The accident caused him to lose his right leg at knee level. The incident occurred on May 31, 2022.           On October 28, 2022, the Labour Minister, Mr. Suchart Chomklin, joined the delegation of the Prime Minister and Minister of Defense General Prayuth Chan-ocha to visit Bueng Kan Province to perform the foundation stone laying ceremony for the construction of the fifth Thai-Laos Friendship Bridge (Bueng Kan-Bolikhamxay) at the construction area of the Ban Don Yom project, Moo 2, Khai Si Subdistrict, Mueang District, Bueng Kan Province.           On October 27, 2022, the Labour Minister, Mr. Suchart Chomklin, presided over the 42nd Home & Condo Expo opening ceremony.
