วันที่ 8 มีนาคม 2567 นายไพโรจน์ โชติกเสถียร ปลัดกระทรวงแรงงาน เป็นประธานมอบรางวัลสตรีทำงานดีเด่น เนื่องในวันสตรีสากล ประจำปี 2567 ยกย่อง 31 สตรีต้นแบบสร้างสรรค์งานที่มีคุณค่า พัฒนาศักยภาพตนเองได้อย่างเสมอภาคและเท่าเทียม พร้อมเสริมพลังในการร่วมขับเคลื่อนสวัสดิการแรงงาน สู่การพัฒนาสังคมเศรษฐกิจ และประเทศชาติได้อย่างยั่งยืน ณ โรงแรมมิราเคิล แกรนด์ คอนเวนชั่น กรุงเทพฯ โดยมี นายวรรณรัตน์ ศรีสุขใส รองปลัดกระทรวงแรงงาน เรือเอก สาโรจน์ คมคาย ที่ปรึกษากฎหมาย รักษาราชการแทนรองปลัดกระทรวงแรงงาน นางสาวกรจิรัฏฐ์ พงจันทร์ศธร ผู้ช่วยปลัดกระทรวงแรงงาน นางสาวบุณยวีร์ ไขว้พันธุ์ รองอธิบดีกรมการจัดหางาน รักษาการในตำแหน่งผู้ตรวจราชการกระทรวงแรงงาน นายสันติ นันตสุวรรณ รองอธิบดีกรมการจัดหางาน รักษาการในตำแหน่งผู้ตรวจราชการกระทรวงแรงงาน พร้อมด้วย นางมารศรี ใจรังษี รองเลขาธิการสำนักงานประกันสังคม รักษาการในตำแหน่งผู้ตรวจราชการกระทรวงแรงงาน ร่วมเป็นเกียรติในงาน

นายไพโรจน์ โชติกเสถียร ปลัดกระทรวงแรงงาน กล่าวว่า ปัจจุบันประเทศไทยมีผู้หญิงอยู่ในตลาดแรงงานมากกว่า 18.66 ล้านคน ซึ่งสตรีทำงานเหล่านี้มีบทบาทและได้รับการยอมรับในสังคมมากขึ้น สามารถประกอบอาชีพ มีรายได้ และพึ่งพาตนเองได้ ประกอบกับสังคมปัจจุบันที่ขับเคลื่อนด้วยเทคโนโลยีและนวัตกรรม ทำให้สตรีมีโอกาสแสดงศักยภาพได้อย่างเปิดกว้าง กระทรวงแรงงาน โดยการนำของรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงแรงงาน นายพิพัฒน์ รัชกิจประการ ให้ความสำคัญกับแรงงานสตรี เพราะเป็นพลังสำคัญในการขับเคลื่อนเศรษฐกิจของประเทศให้เจริญก้าวหน้า โดยได้กำหนดนโยบายด้านแรงงานและขับเคลื่อนการดำเนินงานในทุกมิติ ภายใต้แนวคิด “ทักษะดี มีงานทำ หลักประกันสังคมเด่น เน้นขับเคลื่อนเศรษฐกิจ” เพื่อพัฒนาคุณภาพชีวิตแรงงานสตรี และคุ้มครองดูแลให้ได้รับสิทธิประโยชน์อย่างเท่าเทียมเป็นธรรม ได้รับค่าจ้างที่เหมาะสม มีรายได้ และมีความมั่นคงในชีวิต ผมขอชื่นชมสตรีทั้ง 31 ท่าน ที่ได้รับรางวัลสตรีทำงานดีเด่น ซึ่งจะเป็นต้นแบบให้สตรีทั่วประเทศได้ตระหนักถึงคุณค่าของตนเอง มุ่งมั่นที่จะพัฒนาความรู้ความสามารถ และนำเทคโนโลยีดิจิทัล มาส่งเสริมสนับสนุนให้เกิดการเปลี่ยนแปลงอย่างสร้างสรรค์ ก่อเกิดงานที่มีคุณค่า เพื่อประโยชน์ต่อตนเอง ครอบครัว และสังคม อันจะเป็นพลังสำคัญในการขับเคลื่อนเศรษฐกิจประเทศชาติให้ก้าวหน้า มั่นคง ยั่งยืน ต่อไป

ด้านนางโสภา เกียรตินิรชา อธิบดีกรมสวัสดิการและคุ้มครองแรงงาน กล่าวเพิ่มเติมว่า งานมอบรางวัล สตรีทำงานดีเด่น เนื่องในวันสตรีสากล ประจำปี 2567 นี้ จัดขึ้นภายใต้แนวคิด “แรงงานสตรีสร้างความเสมอภาคและการทำงานที่มีคุณค่า พัฒนาเศรษฐกิจดิจิทัล” เพื่อกระตุ้นให้ทุกภาคส่วนตระหนักถึงความสำคัญของสตรีทำงาน และร่วมส่งเสริมให้สตรีได้รับการปฏิบัติอย่างเป็นธรรมและเท่าเทียม ได้รับสิทธิประโยชน์จากการจ้างงาน และสวัสดิการแรงงานที่เหมาะสม และเพื่อยกย่องเชิดชูเกียรติสตรีทำงานดีเด่น โดยในปีนี้มีสตรีได้รับการคัดเลือกให้เป็นสตรีทำงานดีเด่น จำนวน 31 คน จาก 8 ประเภทรางวัล อาทิ สตรีนักบริหารดีเด่น ได้แก่ แพทย์หญิงวันทนีย์ วัฒนะ ปลัดกรุงเทพมหานคร นางสาวธิดาพร มีกิ่งทอง รองกรรมการผู้จัดการ ธนาคารอาคารสงเคราะห์ นางสาวนิรมล พลพิพัฒนพงศ์ กรรมการผู้จัดการ บริษัท ปริ๊นเซส ฟูดส์ จำกัด รางวัลสตรีผู้ปฏิบัติการดีเด่น ได้แก่ นางสาวรีพร ชาวบางพระ พนักงานเก็บรักษาของ สถานธนานุเคราะห์ 31 รางวัลสตรีผู้ประกอบอาชีพอิสระดีเด่น ได้แก่ นางธาราพิมพ์ พิงทร ประธานกลุ่มพัฒนาสตรีตำบลประตูป่า จังหวัดลำพูน รางวัลศิลปินสตรีดีเด่น ได้แก่ นางสาวแอนโทเนีย โพซิ้ว และนางสาวพิชญทัฬห์ จันทร์พุฒ ผู้ประกาศข่าวช่อง 3 ได้รางวัลสื่อมวลชนสตรีดีเด่น

นอกจากนี้ภายในงานยังมีกิจกรรมที่น่าสนใจ อาทิ การแสดงนิทรรศการประวัติและผลงานของสตรีทำงานดีเด่น การแสดงและจำหน่ายผลิตภัณฑ์ของสตรีผู้ประกอบอาชีพอิสระดีเด่น ภาคเหนือ ภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือ ภาคกลาง และภาคใต้ การส่งเสริมอาชีพและแสดงผลิตภัณฑ์กรุงเทพมหานคร การให้บริการคลินิกสุขภาพเพศหลากหลาย และการให้บริการตรวจสุขภาพสตรี โดยไม่มีค่าใช้จ่ายอีกด้วย
On March 8, 2024, the Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Phairoj Chotikasathien, chaired the award ceremony for outstanding working women On International Women’s Day 2024. The event honoured 31 female role models who create valuable work and have developed their potential equally and equitably. The Ministry of Labour is ready to strengthen and drive the workforce’s welfare toward social and economic development sustainably. The occasion took place at the Miracle Grand Convention Hotel in Bangkok. The Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Wannarat Srisuksai, the Legal Advisor and Acting Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labour, Lieutenant Saroj Komkhai, the Assistant to the Permanent Secretary of Labour, Ms. Kornjirat Pongjansat, the Department of Employment’s Deputy Director-Generals and Acting Inspector-General to the Ministry of Labour, Ms. Bunyawee Khaipan and Mr. Santi Nantasuwan, and the Deputy Secretary-General of the Social Security Office and Acting Inspector-General to the Ministry of Labour, Mrs. Marasri Jairangsi, also joined the event.
The Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Pairoj Chotikasathien, said that at present, Thailand has over 18.66 million women in the workforce. These working women have a greater role and are accepted in society. They are able to have careers, an income, and be self-reliant. In addition, today’s society is driven by technology and innovation, giving women an open opportunity to showcase their potential. The Ministry of Labour, led by the Labour Minister, Mr. Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn, gives importance to women workers, as they are an important force driving the country’s economy. It has set policies and driven operations in all dimensions under the concept of “good skills, work, outstanding social security principles, and a focus on driving the economy.” It strives to improve the quality of life of women workers, ensuring protection and that they receive benefits equally and fairly, receiving appropriate wages, an income, and stability in life. He commended all 31 women who received the Outstanding Working Women Award. This will be a model for all women nationwide to realize their worthiness. The Ministry of Labour is committed to developing knowledge and abilities, integrating digital technology to promote and support creative change, and creating valuable work for the benefit of workers, their families, and society. This will be an important force in driving the national economy forward toward stability and sustainability.
The Department of Labour Protection and Welfare’s Director-General, Mrs. Sopa Kieatnircha, added that International Women’s Day 2024 was organized under the concept of “women workers creating equality and valuable work, developing the digital economy” to encourage all sectors to recognize the importance of working women and join in promoting women to be treated fairly and equally, to receive appropriate employment benefits and welfare, and to honour outstanding women working. This year, 31 women were selected from 8 award categories. The Outstanding Women Executive Award was awarded to Dr. Wantanee Wattana, Permanent Secretary of Bangkok, Ms. Thidaporn Meekingthong, Deputy Managing Director of the Government Housing Bank, and Ms. Niramon Phonpipattanaphong, Managing Director of Princess Foods Company Limited. The Outstanding Women’s Practitioner Award was awarded to Mrs. Wareeporn Chaobangphra, a custodial staff of the Pawnshop 31. The Outstanding Self-Employed Women Award was awarded to Mrs. Tarapim Pingthon, President of the Women’s Development Group, Pratu Pa Subdistrict, Lamphun Province. The Outstanding Female Artist Award was awarded to Ms. Antonia Pho Siew, and Ms. Pitchayathan Chanput, a news anchor from Channel 3 television station, was awarded the Outstanding Female Media Award.
The event also hosted interesting activities such as an exhibition of the history and works of outstanding working women, a showcase and sale of products from outstanding self-employed women in the northern, northeastern, central, and southern regions, career promotion and product displays from the Bangkok Administration, and a variety of sexual health clinic services providing women’s health examination services for free.
