ปลัดกระทรวงแรงงาน เปิดงาน 10 พฤษภาคม “วันความปลอดภัยในการทำงานแห่งชาติ” ประจำปี 2566 กระตุ้นเตือนทุกภาคส่วนให้เกิดความตระหนักรู้และมีจิตสำนึกที่ดีในการป้องกันอุบัติเหตุและโรคจากการทำงาน พร้อมจัดเวทีแลกเปลี่ยนเรียนรู้ จป.ผู้นำการสร้างสุขภาวะองค์กร
วันนี้ (10 พ.ค. 66) เวลา 09.00 น. นายบุญชอบ สุทธมนัสวงษ์ ปลัดกระทรวงแรงงาน เปิดเผยภายหลังการเป็นประธานในพิธีเปิดงาน 10 พฤษภาคม วันความปลอดภัยในการทำงานแห่งชาติ และเวทีแลกเปลี่ยนเรียนรู้ จป.ผู้นำการสร้างสุขภาวะองค์กร ประจำปีงบประมาณ พ.ศ.2566 ณ โรงแรมมิราเคิลแกรนด์ กรุงเทพฯ ว่า คณะรัฐมนตรีกำหนดให้วันที่ 10 พฤษภาคมของทุกปี เป็น “วันความปลอดภัยในการทำงานแห่งชาติ” เพื่อรำลึกถึงเหตุการณ์โศกนาฏกรรมไฟไหม้รุนแรง ที่ทำให้มีผู้เสียชีวิตและบาดเจ็บจำนวนมาก รวมทั้งรณรงค์ให้หน่วยงานทุกภาคส่วนที่เกี่ยวข้องตระหนักถึงความปลอดภัยในการทำงาน กระทรวงแรงงาน โดยกรมสวัสดิการและคุ้มครองแรงงาน (กสร.) ได้จัดกิจกรรม 10 พฤษภาคม วันความปลอดภัยในการทำงานมาอย่างต่อเนื่อง เพื่อให้ทุกฝ่ายที่เกี่ยวข้องตระหนักถึงความสำคัญของความปลอดภัยในการทำงานและกระตุ้นเตือนให้ทุกภาคส่วนเข้ามามีส่วนร่วมและให้ความสำคัญเรื่องความปลอดภัยในการทำงานอย่างจริงจัง ทำให้รู้เท่าทันถึงอันตราย และทราบถึงแนวปฏิบัติตามมาตรการความปลอดภัยในการทำงาน เพื่อนำไปสู่การดำเนินงานด้านความปลอดภัยและสุขภาพอนามัยให้เกิดกับคนทำงานในทุกอาชีพต่อไป
ด้าน นายนิยม สองแก้ว อธิบดีกรมสวัสดิการและคุ้มครองแรงงาน (กสร.) กล่าวเพิ่มเติมว่า สำหรับการจัดงาน 10 พฤษภาคม วันความปลอดภัยในการทำงานแห่งชาติในปีนี้ กรมฯ มีการรณรงค์เรื่องความปลอดภัยในการทำงานในหลายรูปแบบ เช่น การจัดบูธกิจกรรมจากภาคีเครือข่ายด้านความปลอดภัยในการทำงาน การปาฐกถาพิเศษจากวิทยากรภาครัฐและภาคเอกชน การมอบประกาศเกียรติคุณให้กับสถานประกอบกิจการต้นแบบ จำนวน 58 แห่ง ที่เป็นผู้นำการขับเคลื่อนสุขภาวะในสถานประกอบกิจการ (Happy Workplace) ซึ่งกรมฯ ได้ร่วมกับกองทุนสนับสนุนการสร้างเสริมสุขภาพ (สสส.) ในการดำเนินการ รวมทั้งจัดเวทีแลกเปลี่ยนเรียนรู้ โดยเจ้าหน้าที่ความปลอดภัยจากการทำงาน (จป.) จากสถานประกอบกิจการต้นแบบ จำนวน 5 แห่ง
ร่วมเสวนาเพื่อนำเสนอประสบการณ์และบทเรียนความสำเร็จให้กับผู้ร่วมงาน นำไปขับเคลื่อนการสร้างเสริมสุขภาวะในสถานประกอบกิจการและเกิดวัฒนธรรมความปลอดภัยในการทำงานให้เกิดขึ้นกับสังคมไทยอย่างยั่งยืน
The Permanent Secretary of Labour commenced the event on May 10, the “National Safety Day at Work” for 2023. The event encouraged all sectors to raise awareness and have a good conscience in preventing accidents and diseases from work and organized a forum to exchange knowledge for safety officers and leaders in creating organizational well-being.
Today (May 10, 2023), at 09.00 hours, the Permanent Secretary of Labour gave a speech after presiding over the opening ceremony on May 10, the National Work Safety Day and learning exchange platform for safety officers and leaders in creating organizational well-being for 2023. The occasion took place at the Miracle Grand Hotel Bangkok. He said that the Cabinet had designated May 10 of every year as the “National Safety Day ” to commemorate the tragedy of the severe fire that caused many deaths and injuries. It campaigns for all relevant sectors to be aware of workplace safety. The Ministry of Labour’s Department of Labour Protection and Welfare (DLP) organized activities on May 10, the Safety Day at Work, to make all parties involved aware of the importance of workplace safety and to encourage all sectors to participate and focus on the topic, to be aware of the danger and know the practice guidelines for safety measures in the workplace, to lead to the implementation of safety and health for workers in all professions.
The Department of Labour Protection and Welfare’s Director-General, Mr. Niyom Songkaew, added that for the event on May 10, the Safety Day at Work this year, the Department had many forms of workplace safety campaigns. For example, it organized booth activities from network partners on workplace safety, provided special lectures from public and private speakers, and gave honorary certificates to 58 model enterprises that drive a happy workplace. The Department has collaborated with the Thai Health Promotion Foundation in organizing the event. It also organized a forum to exchange knowledge, whereby safety officers from five model organizations participated in a discussion to present experiences and lessons of success to participants, to drive the promotion of well-being in the workplace, and create a culture of safety in the workplace to be sustainable in Thai society.
