        วันที่ 18 ตุลาคม 2566 เวลา 09.00 น. นายพิพัฒน์ รัชกิจประการ รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงแรงงาน มอบหมายให้ นายภุชงค์ วรศรี ประจำสำนักเลขาธิการนายกรัฐมนตรี ปฏิบัติหน้าที่ประจำกระทรวงแรงงาน พร้อมด้วย นายไพโรจน์ โชติกเสถียร ปลัดกระทรวงแรงงาน และผู้บริหารระดับสูงกระทรวงแรงงาน ส่งทีมเจ้าหน้าที่กระทรวงแรงงาน เพิ่มเติมอีกจำนวน 5 คน จากชุดแรกที่ได้เดินทางไปเมื่อวันที่ 14 ตุลาคมที่ผ่านมา มุ่งหน้าสู่อิสราเอลด้วยเที่ยวบินพิเศษจากกองทัพอากาศ เพื่อสมทบการปฏิบัติภารกิจอพยพแรงงานไทยที่ได้รับผลกระทบจากสถานการณ์ความไม่สงบในอิสราเอลกลับประเทศไทย ณ ท่าอากาศยานทหาร 2 กองบิน 6 พร้อมด้วยเครื่องอุปโภคบริโภค ได้แก่ ข้าวสาร อาหารแห้ง ซึ่งผู้ประกอบการภาคเอกชนบริจาคสมทบให้กระทรวงแรงงานนำไปช่วยเหลือพี่น้องแรงงานไทยที่ได้รับผลกระทบในอิสราเอลและไม่สามารถออกมาทำงานได้ เนื่องจากต้องอาศัยอยู่ในพื้นที่หลบภัย โดยมี พล.อ.อ.พันธ์ภักดี พัฒนกุล ผู้บัญชาการทหารอากาศ ให้การต้อนรับ

       นายไพโรจน์ โชติกเสถียร ปลัดกระทรวงแรงงาน เปิดเผยว่า หลังจากที่กระทรวงแรงงาน ได้ส่งเจ้าหน้าที่ชุดแรกเดินทางไปปฏิบัติภารกิจรับพี่น้องแรงงานไทยกลับบ้านที่อิสราเอลร่วมกับกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ และกองทัพอากาศ นั้น เจ้าหน้าที่กระทรวงแรงงานได้เริ่มปฏิบัติภารกิจการอพยพ ช่วยเหลือแรงงานไทยในทันทีที่เดินทางถึงสนามบินนานาชาติ Ben Gurion อิสราเอล ซึ่งขณะนี้สามารถอพยพแรงงานไทยในจุดต่างๆ โดยเฉพาะพื้นที่อันตรายมาอยู่ในที่ที่ปลอดภัยแล้ว
แต่อย่างไรก็ดี เนื่องจากปัจจุบันมีผู้แจ้งความประสงค์ขอกลับประเทศไทยเข้ามาจำนวนมากเกือบ 8,000 คน จึงทำให้สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงเทลอาวีฟ ยังต้องการเจ้าหน้าที่สนับสนุนภารกิจ และเป็นกำลังเสริม ดังนั้นเพื่อให้การช่วยเหลือแรงงานไทยเป็นไปด้วยความรวดเร็ว และคล่องตัวมากยิ่งขึ้น กระทรวงแรงงานจึงส่งเจ้าหน้าที่จากหน่วยงานในสังกัดเพิ่มเติมอีก 5 คน ซึ่งเจ้าหน้าที่เหล่านี้เป็นผู้มีจิตอาสาและสมัครใจไปปฏิบัติภารกิจ
ที่มีเจตนารมย์เดียวกันที่ต้องการให้แรงงานไทยที่ต้องการกลับบ้านได้เดินทางกลับอย่างปลอดภัยและสามารถดำเนินการอพยพให้เร็วที่สุด

        นายไพโรจน์ ยังกล่าวต่อว่า เจ้าหน้าที่กระทรวงแรงงานชุดที่ 2 นี้ จะไปสมทบการปฏิบัติงานของเจ้าหน้าที่กระทรวงแรงงานชุดแรกจำนวน 5 คน รวมเป็น 10 คน ซึ่งปฏิบัติงานในพื้นที่จุดอพยพต่างๆ รวมทั้งที่สนามบิน เพื่อทำหน้าที่ในการประสาน อำนวยความสะดวกด้านเอกสาร รวมถึงการรวบรวมแรงงานไทย นอกจากนี้ ยังได้นำเครื่องอุปโภคบริโภคไปเพิ่มเติม ได้แก่ ข้าวสาร อาหารแห้ง ที่ได้รับการสนับสนุนจากผู้ประกอบการ ภาคเอกชน สมาคม ตลอดจนห้างร้านต่างๆ ไปพร้อมกับเจ้าหน้าที่กระทรวงแรงงานครั้งนี้ด้วย เพื่อมอบให้กับทูตแรงงานที่อิสราเอล นำไปแจกจ่ายให้กับแรงงานไทยที่พักพิงอยู่ในศูนย์พักพิงชั่วคราว เพื่อบรรเทาความเดือดร้อนในเบื้องต้น

        “ ท่านพิพัฒน์ รัชกิจประการ รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงแรงงานมีความห่วงใยแรงงานไทยที่ไปทำงานที่อิสราเอลทุกคน และให้ความสำคัญกับภารกิจการช่วยเหลือพี่น้องแรงงานไทยในครั้งนี้ ผมและเจ้าหน้าที่กระทรวงแรงงานทุกคนจะดำเนินการช่วยเหลืออย่างเต็มความสามารถและขอให้เชื่อมั่นว่าพวกเราจะสามารถพาแรงงานไทยทั้งหมดกลับมาได้อย่างปลอดภัย” นายไพโรจน์ กล่าวท้ายสุด

        สำหรับรายชื่อทีมเจ้าหน้าที่กระทรวงแรงงานชุดที่ 2 จำนวน 5 คน ที่เข้าร่วมปฏิบัติภารกิจในการอพยพแรงงานไทยที่อิสราเอลกลับประเทศไทยในครั้งนี้ ได้แก่

1) จ่าเอก พันธ์ชิต กิจหวัง ผู้อำนวยการกลุ่มงานช่วยอำนวยการ กองกลาง สำนักงานปลัดกระทรวงแรงงาน

2) นายธีระศักดิ์ อยู่เพชร นักวิชาการแรงงานชำนาญการพิเศษ กองพัฒนามาตรฐานและทดสอบฝีมือแรงงาน กรมพัฒนาฝีมือแรงงาน

3) นายธนัตถ์ ช่างสาน นักทรัพยากรบุคคลชำนาญการพิเศษ กองการเจ้าหน้าที่ กรมสวัสดิการและคุ้มครองแรงงาน

4) นายเบญจรงค์ ว่องจรรยากุล หัวหน้าสำนักงานประกันสังคมจังหวัดชลบุรี สาขาบางละมุง สำนักงานประกันสังคมและ

5) นางสาวบุษบัญชลี ภู่แก้วเผือก นักวิชาการแรงงานชำนาญการ สำนักบริหารแรงงานต่างด้าว กรมการจัดหางาน

 
        On October 18, 2023, at 09.00 hours, the Labour Minister, Mr. Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn assigned from the Prime Minister’s Secretariat’s Office, performing duties for the Ministry of Labour, Mr. Phuchong Worasri, the Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Phairoj Chotikasatian, and the Ministry of Labour’s executives, to send a team of five officials from the Ministry of Labour, in addition to the first group that traveled on October 14. They will travel to Israel on a special flight from the Royal Air Force to contribute to the mission to evacuate Thai workers affected by the unrest situation in Israel back to Thailand. The occasion took place at the Military Airport 2, Wing 6. They will travel with consumer goods such as rice and dry foods donated by the private sector to the Ministry of Labour. The donation is to help Thai workers affected in Israel who cannot work because they have to live in refuge. Air Force Commander Air Chief Marshal Phanpakdee Pattanakul gave a welcome.
 
        The Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Phairoj Chotikasatian, said that after the Ministry of Labour sent the first team of officials on a mission to bring Thai workers back home from Israel together with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Air Force, the Ministry of Labour’s officials begun evacuation missions to assist Thai workers as soon they arrived at Ben Gurion International Airport in Israel. They have evacuated Thai workers at various points, especially from dangerous areas, to bring them to safe places. Nearly 8,000 people are requesting to return to Thailand. The Royal Thai Embassy in Tel Aviv still needs mission support staff and reinforcement. Therefore, the Ministry of Labour has sent five additional officials from affiliated agencies to assist Thai workers quickly. These officials are volunteers with the same intention of wanting to help Thai workers to return home safely and to complete the evacuation process as quickly as possible.
 
        Mr. Phairoj further said that this second set of officials from the Ministry of Labour will join the first team’s work. The Ministry of Labour will have ten people work at various evacuation points, including at the airport, to coordinate and facilitate documents, including gathering Thai workers. Additional consumer goods, including rice and dry foods, were also sent, supported by entrepreneurs in the private sector, associations, and various stores. The goods were sent together with the Ministry of Labour’s officials to the Labour Ambassador in Israel and distributed to Thai workers sheltering in temporary shelters to provide initial alleviation.  
 
        “The Labour Minister, Mr. Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn, cares for all workers and gives importance to helping Thai workers. It is an urgent mission that the Ministry of Labour follows closely and gives the highest priority to. I and all Ministry of Labour officials will help to the best of our abilities. Please believe we will return all Thai workers safely,” Mr. Pairoj concluded.
 
        The Ministry of Labour’s second team participating in the mission to evacuate Thai workers from Israel back to Thailand includes the following five people:
  1. Sergeant Panchit Kitwang, Director of the Administrative Support Group, Central Division, Office of the Permanent Secretary of Labour.
  2. Mr. Theerasak Yuphet, Labour Academic with Special Expertise, Labour Standards and Skills Assessment Division, Department of Skill Development.
  3. Mr. Thanat Changsan, Human Resources Specialist, Staff Division, Department of Labour Protection and Welfare.
  4. Mr. Benjarong Wongcharanyakul, Head of the Chonburi Provincial Social Security Office,  Bang Lamung Branch, Social Security Office. 
  5. Ms. Busabunchalee Phukaewphueak, Labour Academic with Special Expertise, Office of Foreign Labour Administration, Department of Employment.
