วันที่ 28 สิงหาคม 2566 เวลา 09.00 น. นายสุชาติ ชมกลิ่น รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงแรงงาน สักการะสิ่งศักดิ์สิทธิ์ประจำกระทรวงแรงงาน ประกอบด้วย พระพุทธสุทธิธรรมบพิตร พระพุทธชินราช ศาลพ่อปู่ชัยมงคล ศาลท้าวมหาพรหมเทวฤทธิ์ และศาลพ่อปู่ชินพรหมมา เนื่องในโอกาสอำลาตำแหน่ง โดยมี นายบุญชอบ สุทธมนัสวงษ์ ปลัดกระทรวงแรงงาน พร้อมด้วย ผู้บริหารระดับสูง ข้าราชการ เจ้าหน้าที่หน่วยงานในสังกัดกระทรวงแรงงาน ร่วมพิธี ณ บริเวณโถงด้านล่างกระทรวงแรงงาน
โอกาสนี้ นายสุชาติ ได้รับมอบดอกไม้พร้อมพบปะพูดคุยด้วยความเป็นกันเองกับคณะผู้บริหาร ข้าราชการ และเจ้าหน้าที่หน่วยงานในสังกัดกระทรวงแรงงาน โดยแต่ละหน่วยงานต่างมีป้ายข้อความให้กำลังใจ ซึ่งบรรยากาศเป็นไปด้วยความผูกพันที่ข้าราชการกระทรวงแรงงานพร้อมใจกันแสดงออกต่อรัฐมนตรีสุชาติ นอกจากนี้ ยังมีกลุ่มชาวบ้านตัวแทนชุมชนแฟลตดินแดง ได้เดินทางมามอบกระเช้าสิ่งของและดอกไม้ให้กำลังใจ เนื่องจากในช่วงโควิดนายสุชาติได้นำมาตรการต่างๆ จากรัฐบาลเข้าไปช่วยเหลือเยียวยาบรรเทาความเดือดร้อนให้ชาวชุมชนดินแดงได้ก้าวพ้นวิกฤต ขณะเดียวกันมีผู้นำสหภาพแรงงานต่างๆ เดินทางมาร่วมมอบดอกไม้ขอบคุณและให้กำลังใจนายสุชาติ ที่เป็นรัฐมนตรีในดวงใจช่วยเหลือพี่น้องผู้ใช้แรงงานให้ก้าวพ้นวิกฤตโควิดด้วยมาตรการต่างๆ จากรัฐบาลและกระทรวงแรงงานด้วยเช่นเดียวกัน
ทั้งนี้ นายสุชาติ ยังกล่าวถึงนโยบายที่ตนเคยทำเอาไว้และต้องการให้มีการขับเคลื่อนต่อขณะพบปะกับข้าราชการ ผู้นำสหภาพแรงงาน และชาวชุมชนดินแดงที่มาให้กำลังใจเพื่อทำให้พี่น้องผู้ใช้แรงงานมีคุณภาพชีวิตที่ดีขึ้น อาทิ การผลักดัน พ.ร.บ.ประกันสังคม 3 ขอ ให้แล้วเสร็จ โรงพยาบาลประกันสังคม โรงพยาบาลประกันสังคมเพื่อความภาคภูมิใจของผู้ใช้แรงงาน เป็นต้น “อะไรที่เป็นนโยบายที่ดีและเกิดประโยชน์กับพี่น้องผู้ใช้แรงงานก็อยากให้ได้มีการได้สานต่อเพื่อช่วยยกระดับคุณภาพชีวิตของพี่น้องผู้ใช้แรงงานให้ดียิ่งขึ้นต่อไป” นายสุชาติ กล่าวท้ายสุด

The Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Boonchob Suttamanaswong, the Ministry of Labour’s executives, civil servants, and officials joined the ceremony at the foyer on the ground floor of the Ministry of Labour.
On this occasion, Mr. Suchart received flowers and greeted the Ministry of Labour’s executives, civil servants, and officials. Each agency had a sign of encouragement, and the atmosphere showed the bond between the Ministry of Labour’s staff and the Labour Minister. A group of people also represented the Din Daeng flat community, who gave baskets of goods and flowers as encouragement. During the COVID period, Mr. Suchart issued various measures from the government to help alleviate the suffering of the people of the Din Daeng community to overcome the crisis. At the same time, various trade union leaders joined in giving flowers to thank and encourage Mr. Suchart, a beloved Minister who helped the workforce overcome the COVID crisis with multiple measures from the government and the Ministry of Labour.
Mr. Suchart spoke about the policies he had implemented and wants to see continued. At the same time, he met with government officials, union leaders, and people from the Din Daeng community, who came to encourage him. He expressed the desire for workers to have a better quality of life, such as pushing for the Social Security Act, the three requests, social security hospitals, and social security hospitals for the pride of the workforce. “I would like to see good policies that benefit the workforce to continue, to help improve workers’ quality of life,” concluded Mr. Suchart.
