วันที่ 22 พฤษภาคม 2566 นายสุชาติ ชมกลิ่น รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงแรงงาน เปิดเผยถึงความคืบหน้าการให้ความช่วยเหลือกรณีลูกจ้างบริษัทไพโอเนียร์ถูกเลิกจ้างว่า ตามที่บริษัท ไพโอเนียร์ แมนูแฟคเจอริ่ง (ประเทศไทย) จำกัด มีสำนักงานตั้งอยู่ในนิคมอุตสาหกรรมโรจนะ อ.อุทัย จ.พระนครศรีอยุธยา ซึ่งประกอบกิจการผลิตชิ้นส่วนและอุปกรณ์เสริมอื่นๆ สำหรับยานยนต์ มีลูกจ้างทั้งหมด 1,549 คน เลิกจ้างลูกจ้าง 411 คน เนื่องจากบริษัทประสบปัญหาขาดสภาพคล่องด้านวัตถุดิบขาดแคลนจากบริษัทซัพพลายเออร์ปิดตัวลง ประกอบกับสินค้าของบริษัทฯ ไม่ได้เป็นที่นิยมเหมือนในอดีตนั้น
นายสุชาติ กล่าวต่อว่า ความคืบหน้าการให้ความช่วยเหลือลูกจ้างที่ถูกเลิกจ้างในส่วนของกระทรวงแรงงาน ผมได้ให้กรมสวัสดิการและคุ้มครองแรงงานเข้าไปชี้แจงข้อกฎหมายและสิทธิประโยชน์ต่างๆ ตามกฎหมายคุ้มครองแรงงานให้นายจ้างรับทราบ ซึ่งนายจ้างก็ได้จ่ายค่าชดเชยและค่าจ้างแทนการบอกล่วงหน้าให้กับลูกจ้างทุกคนที่ถูกเลิกจ้างถูกต้องตามกฎหมายแล้ว รวมจำนวนทั้งสิ้นประมาณ 97 ล้านบาท และในวันนี้ผมได้มอบหมายให้ นายชาญศิลป์ ทรัพย์โนนหวาย คณะที่ปรึกษารัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงแรงงาน ลงพื้นที่ไปยังสำนักงานจัดหางานจังหวัดพระนครศรีอยุธยา พร้อมกับหน่วยงานในสังกัดกระทรวงแรงงานจังหวัดพระนครศรีอยุธยา เพื่อดูแลอำนวยความสะดวกแก่ลูกจ้างในการขึ้นทะเบียนว่างงานเพื่อขอรับสิทธิประโยชน์ทดแทนกรณีว่างงานจากกองทุนประกันสังคม โดยสำนักงานจัดหางานจังหวัดพระนครศรีอยุธยาได้แจ้งตำแหน่งงานว่างทั่วประเทศกว่า 3 แสนอัตรา และตำแหน่งงานว่างในจังหวัดพระนครศรีอยุธยาจากสถานประกอบการชั้นนำต่างๆ อาทิ บริษัท ยูนิเวนเจอร์ จำกัด (มหาชน) บริษัท ดูโฮม จำกัด (มหาชน) บริษัท เดลต้า อลูมิเนียม (ไทยแลนด์) จำกัด บริษัท อินโดไทยซินเทติคซ์ จำกัด บริษัท วัชรทรัพย์ ปิโตรเลี่ยม จำกัด บริษัท เอ็นเอ็มบี-มินีแบ ไทย จำกัด บริษัท แคนนอน ไฮ-เทค (ประเทศไทย) จำกัด บริษัท บิซิเนส เซอร์วิสเซส อัลไลแอนซ์ จำกัด (BSA) บริษัท จีเอ็มซีซี แอนด์ เวลลิ่ง แอพพลายแอนซ์ คอมโพเนนท์ (ประเทศไทย) จำกัด”บริษัท คอสมอส บริวเวอรี่ (ประเทศไทย) จำกัด บริษัท อิชิตัน กรุ๊ป จำกัด (มหาชน) บริษัท ไฮล์ เทรลเลอร์ เอเซีย จำกัด บริษัท ทวีผลผลิตภัณฑ์ จำกัด โรงแรม ธัญ เวลเนส เดสทิเนชั่น รวมตำแหน่งงานว่างทั้งสิ้น 107 ตำแหน่ง 540 อัตรา ส่วนใหญ่เป็นตำแหน่งช่างเทคนิค ฝ่ายผลิต เจ้าหน้าที่จัดซื้อ เจ้าหน้าที่คลังสินค้า เจ้าหน้าที่บัญชี และพนักงานขาย เป็นต้น

On May 22, 2023, the Labour Minister, Mr. Suchart Chomklin, spoke about the progress on supporting employees laid off from Pioneer. He said Pioneer Manufacturing (Thailand) Co., Ltd. has an office in Rojana Industrial Estate, Uthai District, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province. The company produces parts and other accessories for automobiles. There are 1,549 employees, and 411 employees have been laid off as the company faced liquidity issues from raw material shortages from the closing of suppliers and the diminishing popularity of the company’s products.
Mr. Suchart continued that on the Ministry of Labour’s part, he has assigned the Department of Labour Protection and Welfare to clarify the law and various benefits to the employer, according to labour protection laws. The employer has already paid compensation and wages in lieu of advance notice to all employees who have been terminated, following the law. The total amount is approximately 97 million Baht. Today, he assigned a member to the Labour Minister’s Advisory Board, Mr. Chansin Subnonwai, to visit the Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Provincial Employment Office, along with agencies under the Ministry of Labour in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province, to facilitate employees in registering for unemployment to receive unemployment benefits from the Social Security Fund. The Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Provincial Employment Office has announced over 300,000 job vacancies nationwide and job vacancies in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya from leading establishments such as Univentures PCL, Do Home PCL, Delta Aluminum (Thailand) Co., Ltd., Indo-Thai Synthetics Co., Ltd., Watcharasap Petroleum Co., Ltd., NMB-Minebea Thai Co., Ltd., Canon Hi-Tech (Thailand) Co., Ltd., Business Services Alliance Co., Ltd. (BSA), GMCC and Welling Appliance Components (Thailand) Co., Ltd., Cosmos Brewery (Thailand) Co., Ltd., Ichitan Group PCL, Hile Trailer Asia Co., Ltd., Taweepol Product Co., Ltd., and Thann Wellness Destination Hotel, for a total of 107 positions and 540 vacancies. Most positions are technicians in the production department, purchasing officers, warehouse clerks, accountants, and sales staff, for example.
