วันที่ 8 มิถุนายน 2566 เวลา 14.30 น. นายสุชาติ ชมกลิ่น รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงแรงงาน มอบหมาย นายสุรชัย ชัยตระกูลทอง ผู้ช่วยรัฐมนตรีประจำกระทรวงแรงงาน เป็นประธานในพิธีเปิดงาน JOB EXPO THAILAND 2023 โดยมี นายบุญชอบ สุทธมนัสวงษ์ ปลัดกระทรวงแรงงาน นายไพโรจน์ โชติกเสถียร อธิบดีกรมการจัดหางาน ผู้บริหารกระทรวงแรงงาน ร่วมพิธีเปิด ท่ามกลางผู้บริหารหน่วยงานภาครัฐ ภาคเอกชนและภาคีเครือข่ายที่ร่วมกันจัดงาน ณ บริเวณเวทีกลาง Hall EH 100 -102 ศูนย์นิทรรศการและการประชุมไบเทค บางนา กรุงเทพมหานคร
นายสุรชัย ชัยตระกูลทอง ผู้ช่วยรัฐมนตรีประจำกระทรวงแรงงาน ได้กล่าวเปิดงาน JOB EXPO THAILAND 2023 ว่า จากสถานการณ์ปัจจุบันของประเทศไทยที่ต้องเผชิญกับความท้าทายในการพัฒนาหลายมิติ และการแพร่ระบาดของโรค COVID – 19 ถือเป็นตัวเร่งให้เกิดการเปลี่ยนแปลงและพัฒนาด้านเทคโนโลยีดิจิทัลอย่างก้าวกระโดด ส่งผลต่อโครงสร้างพื้นฐานและระบบเศรษฐกิจยุคใหม่ โดยเฉพาะในภาคแรงงานที่เป็นกลไกสำคัญในการขับเคลื่อนเศรษฐกิจ จุดมุ่งหมายของการจัดงาน JOB EXPO THAILAND 2023 ในวันนี้ เป็นการตอบสนองกับยุทธศาสตร์ชาติ ทั้งในด้านการพัฒนาและเสริมสร้างศักยภาพทรัพยากรมนุษย์และด้านการปรับสมดุลและพัฒนาระบบการบริหารจัดการภาครัฐ โดยการพัฒนาแรงงานให้สอดคล้องกับความต้องการของภาคบริการและท่องเที่ยว ทำให้คนในวัยแรงงานสามารถทำงานได้ในภูมิลำเนาของตนเอง นอกจากนี้ยังมีโครงสร้างพื้นฐานที่อำนวยความสะดวกต่อการทำงานและเรียนรู้ทักษะใหม่ๆ ทำให้วัยแรงงานได้รับการยกระดับจากผู้ใช้แรงงาน เป็นผู้ใช้พลังสมอง ที่สามารถเข้าถึงแหล่งทุน นวัตกรรม เทคโนโลยี และข่าวสารข้อมูลได้สะดวกทำให้ประชาชนทุกช่วงวัยและทุกคนอยู่อาศัยร่วมกันในประเทศอย่างมีความสุขที่ยั่งยืนมีทักษะในการทำงาน มีอาชีพ มีรายได้ที่มั่นคง ยั่งยืน และในขณะเดียวกันก็มีภาครัฐที่ทำงานเพื่อประชาชนอย่างสุจริต โปร่งใส่ และใส่ใจการบริการทำงานรวดเร็ว
ด้านนายไพโรจน์ โชติกเสถียร อธิบดีกรมการจัดหางาน ได้กล่าวรายงานว่าวัตถุประสงค์ของการจัดงาน JOB EXPO THAILAND 2023 ภายใต้ธีมงาน “คนไทยมีงานทำ คนหางาน งานหาคน” เป็นไปตามนโยบายของรัฐบาล ที่ตระหนักถึงความสำคัญของการมีงานทำของประชาชนทุกกลุ่มเป้าหมายในทุกช่วงวัย ไม่ว่าจะเป็นผู้จบการศึกษาใหม่ ผู้สูงอายุ ผู้พิการ ทหารเตรียมปลดประจำการ ผู้พ้นโทษ ผู้ว่างงาน และทุกคนที่ประสงค์มีงานทำ มีรายได้ โดยส่งเสริมการมีงานทำ และการจ้างงาน ยกระดับคุณภาพชีวิตแรงงาน ด้วยการเร่งรัดและผลักดันการขยายตลาดแรงงานไทยในต่างประเทศ กระตุ้น ส่งเสริม รักษาการจ้างงาน รวมถึงบริการจัดหางานออนไลน์ ส่งเสริมการประกอบอาชีพอิสระให้กลุ่มเป้าหมายที่มีความหลากหลายมากขึ้น สนับสนุนการรับงานไปทำที่บ้านแก่ผู้ว่างงาน โดยเน้นในสาขาที่ได้รับผลกระทบจากการแพร่ระบาดของโรคโควิด – 19 การพัฒนาทักษะฝีมือแรงงานทั้งแรงงานในระบบและนอกระบบสอดคล้องกับกิจกรรมภายในงาน ที่ประกอบด้วย กิจกรรมเทิดพระเกียรติศาสตร์พระราชาตามหลักปรัชญาเศรษฐกิจพอเพียง โครงการจิตอาสา 904 (โคก หนอง นา) กิจกรรมขับเคลื่อนการจัดทำฐานช่องทางรวบรวมข้อมูลการจ้างงานและการพัฒนาทักษะฝีมือแรงงาน ด้วย Platform ไทยมีงานทำ กิจกรรมนัดพบแรงงานด้วยการนำตำแหน่งงาน จากหน่วยงานภาครัฐและเอกชนทั้งในประเทศและต่างประเทศมารองรับความต้องการมีงานทำของประชาชน กิจกรรมสร้างงาน พัฒนาอาชีพ เพื่อส่งเสริมและพัฒนาประชาชนให้ก้าวไปสู่การเป็น Start Up และการเป็นเจ้าของกิจการ
ภายในงาน ยังมีกิจกรรมต่างๆ ที่จะเป็นการส่งเสริมและพัฒนาศักยภาพทรัพยากรมนุษย์ให้พร้อมรับมือกับอุตสาหกรรม S-curve และ New-curve ซึ่งการจัดงานในครั้งนี้จะมีการจัดงานในพื้นที่ภูมิภาคอีก 3 แห่ง คือจังหวัดชลบุรี ภูเก็ต และนครราชสีมาสลับหมุนเวียนตลอดช่วงเดือนมิถุนายน พร้อมกันนี้ผู้ช่วยรัฐมนตรีประจำกระทรวงแรงงาน นำคณะผู้บริหารเดินเยี่ยมชมโซนต่างๆ ภายในงาน อาทิ โซนนิทรรศการเทิดพระเกียรติศาสตร์พระราชาตามหลักปรัชญาเศรษฐกิจพอเพียง โครงการจิตอาสา 904 (โคก หนอง นา) โซนประกันสังคม กับกิจกรรมฉีดวัคซีนไข้หวัดใหญ่ฟรี สำหรับประชาชนทุกกลุ่ม โซนไทยมีงานทำ รวบรวมตำแหน่งงานว่างทั่วประเทศ และลงทะเบียนสมัครงาน พร้อมสัมภาษณ์ผ่านทางออนไลน์
สำหรับกิจกรรมเด่นๆ ภายในงาน ตั้งแต่เวลา 10.00 น. – 20.00 น. ที่มีตลอด 3 วันงานนี้

On June 8, 2023, at 14.30 hours, the Labour Minister, Mr. Suchart Chomklin, assigned the Assistant to the Labour Minister, Mr. Surachai Chaitrakulthong, to preside over the opening ceremony of Job Expo Thailand 2023. The Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Boonchob Suttamanaswong, the Department of Employment’s Director-General, Mr. Pairoj Chotiksetian, and the Ministry of Labour’s executives attended the opening ceremony among executives of government agencies, the private sector and network partners, who jointly held the event. The occasion took place at the center stage, Hall EH 100 -102, BITEC Exhibition and Convention Center, Bangna, Bangkok.
The Assistant to the Labour Minister, Mr. Surachai Chaitrakulthong, gave an opening speech for the Job Expo Thailand 2023. He said that Thailand faces many challenges in multidimensional development. The COVID-19 pandemic was a catalyst for the change and development of digital technology, a leap forward, affecting the infrastructure and the modern economy, especially in the labour sector, which is an important mechanism to drive the economy. The Job Expo Thailand 2023 is a response to the national strategy, both in terms of developing and enhancing human resource potential and balancing and improving the public administration system by developing the workforce in line with the needs of the tourism and service sectors and enabling people of the working age to work in their hometowns. An infrastructure also facilitates working and learning new skills, upgrading the working age to become brain power workers with easy access to capital, innovation, technology, and information. It allows people of all ages and everyone to live together with sustainable happiness, have skills to work, have a career, and have a stable and sustainable income. At the same time, the government sector works for the people honestly and transparently, paying attention to the service.
The Department of Employment’s Director-General, Mr. Pairoj Chotiksetian, spoke about the event’s objectives. The Job Expo Thailand 2023 is organized under the theme “Thai People with Jobs: People Find Jobs, and Jobs Find People,” following the government policy that recognizes the importance of all people having a job, whether it’s new graduates, the elderly, people with disabilities, discharged military, the unemployed, and anyone who wants to have a job and have income. The event promotes employment and enhances workers’ quality of life by accelerating and driving the expansion of the Thai labour market abroad, stimulating, promoting, and maintaining employment, including online employment services. It promotes self-employment for more diverse target groups, supporting work at home for the unemployed and focusing on sectors affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. It also promotes skill development for formal and informal workers in line with activities within the event. Activities include an exhibition zone honoring the royal Sufficiency Economy Philosophy, the Volunteers 904 project, activities to drive the creation of a channel base for gathering employment data and developing skilled labor skills through the “thaimeengantum” platform, labour meeting activities by gathering job positions from government and private agencies, both domestically and internationally, to support the people’s employment needs through job creation, and career development activities to promote and develop people to drive start-ups and support business owners.
Within the event, there are also various activities to promote and develop human resource potential to be ready to cope with the s-curve and new-curve industries. This event will be organized in 3 other regional areas, namely Chonburi, Phuket, and Nakhon Ratchasima, alternately throughout June. At the same time, the Assistant to the Labour Minister led the executives to visit various zones within the event, such as the exhibition zone in honor of the royal Sufficiency Economy Philosophy, the Volunteer Project 904 (Kok Nong Na), the Social Security Zone with free flu vaccinations for all groups of people, the “thaimeengantum” zone gathering job vacancies across the country, and registering for jobs, together with interviews taking place online.
