วันที่ 3 พฤษภาคม 2567 นายพิพัฒน์ รัชกิจประการ รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงแรงงาน มอบหมายนายอารี ไกรนรา เลขานุการรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงแรงงาน ตรวจเยี่ยมให้กำลังใจพร้อมให้โอวาทแก่แรงงานไทย 477 คน ที่เข้ารับการอบรมก่อนเดินทางไปทำงานไต้หวัน ญี่ปุ่น และซาอุดิอาระเบีย โดยมีนายสมชาย มรกตศรีวรรณ อธิบดีกรมการจัดหางาน กล่าวรายงาน นายสันติ นันตสุวรรณ ผู้ตรวจราชการกระทรวงแรงงาน นายสิบหมื่นชัย โพธิสินธุ์ รองอธิบดีกรมการจัดหางาน ผู้บริหารกรมการจัดหางาน ผู้แทนบริษัทจัดหางาน เจ้าหน้าที่ที่เกี่ยวข้อง ร่วมพิธี ณ ห้องประชุมชั้น 5 อาคารกระทรวงแรงงาน
นายอารี ไกรนรา เลขานุการรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงแรงงาน กล่าวว่า กระทรวงแรงงานตั้งเป้าหมายจัดส่งแรงงานไทยไปทำงานต่างประเทศ 100,000 อัตรา ภายในปี 2567 เพื่อส่งเสริมให้พี่น้องแรงงานไทย มีรายได้มั่นคง และยกระดับคุณภาพชีวิตให้ดีขึ้น ซึ่งก่อนเดินทางไปทำงานต่างประเทศ กระทรวงแรงงาน โดยกรมการจัดหางานจะต้องอบรมคนหางาน เพื่อเตรียมความพร้อมให้แรงงานไทยได้มีความรู้เข้าใจขั้นตอนการไปทำงานในต่างประเทศและปฏิบัติได้ถูกต้อง ทราบเงื่อนไขตามสัญญาจ้างงาน สภาพการจ้าง และขนบธรรมเนียม วัฒนธรรม ประเพณี มีความพร้อมในการทำงานและเกิดความมั่นใจ รวมทั้งรู้ช่องทางขอความช่วยเหลือ ทราบสิทธิประโยชน์ และการคุ้มครองคนหางานตามกฎหมาย โดยในวันนี้มีแรงงานไทยเข้ารับการอบรม จำนวน 477 คน เพื่อเตรียมเดินทางไปทำงานในไต้หวัน 433 คน ในตำแหน่ง คนงานฝ่ายผลิตในโรงงานอุตสาหกรรม ญี่ปุ่น 12 คน ในตำแหน่งช่างเชื่อม และคนงานฝ่ายผลิตในโรงงานอุตสาหกรรม และซาอุดิอาระเบีย 2 คน ในตำแหน่งช่างเขียนแบบ และช่างเหล็ก ซึ่งทั้งหมดเดินทางไปทำงานโดยมีบริษัทจัดหางาน เป็นผู้จัดส่ง
“ขอแสดงความยินดีกับทุกคนที่ผ่านขั้นตอนการคัดเลือก ฝึกฝนทักษะทั้งด้านภาษา ทักษะการทำงาน และขอชื่นชมในความพยายามและความอดทน ทุกคนถือเป็นกำลังสำคัญที่สร้างชื่อเสียงด้วยทักษะฝีมือการทำงาน และนำเงินตรากลับเข้าประเทศไทย ดังนั้น ขอฝาก น้อง ๆ ตั้งใจทำงาน รับผิดชอบงานที่ได้รับมอบหมายให้ดีที่สุด ไม่ยุ่งเกี่ยวกับยาเสพติด และการพนัน วางแผนเก็บออมให้ดี เพื่อมีเงินก้อนมาต่อยอด สร้างอนาคตให้ตนเองและครอบครัวต่อไป” นายอารีฯ กล่าว
ด้านนายสมชาย มรกตศรีวรรณ อธิบดีกรมการจัดหางาน กล่าวว่า กรมการจัดหางานขานรับนโยบายรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงแรงงาน มุ่งมั่นส่งแรงงานไทยไปทำงานต่างประเทศ ให้ได้ 100,000 อัตรา ภายในปี 2567 โดยรักษาการจ้างงานในตลาดแรงงานเดิม ควบคู่กับการขยายตลาดแรงงานใหม่ในต่างประเทศ รวมทั้งส่งเสริมให้แรงงานไทยไปทำงานต่างประเทศอย่างถูกต้องตามกฎหมาย ความคืบหน้าล่าสุด ได้ส่งคนหางานไปทำงานต่างประเทศแล้ว 53,864 คน ใน 139 ประเทศ ซึ่ง 5 อันดับแรกที่มีการจัดส่งแรงงานไทยไปทำงานมากที่สุด ได้แก่ ไต้หวัน สาธารณรัฐเกาหลี ญี่ปุ่น สาธารณรัฐประชาธิปไตยประชาชนลาว และสหรัฐอเมริกา

On May 3, 2024, the Labour Minister, Mr. Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn, assigned the Secretariat to the Labour Minister, Mr. Aree Krainara, to visit, give encouragement, and provide advice to 477 Thai workers who received training before traveling to work in Taiwan, Japan and Saudi Arabia. The Department of Employment’s Director-General, Mr. Somchai Morakotsriwan, gave a report. The Ministry of Labour’s Inspector-General, Mr. Santi Nantasuwan, the Department of Employment’s Deputy Director-General, Mr. Sibmuenchai Phothisin, the Department of Employment’s executives, representatives from recruitment agencies, and relevant officials joined the occasion at the conference room on the 5th floor, Ministry of Labour.
The Secretariat to the Labour Minister, Mr. Aree Krainara, said that the Ministry of Labour has set a goal to send 100,000 Thai workers to work abroad in 2024 to encourage Thai workers to have a stable income and improve their quality of life. Before traveling to work abroad, the Ministry of Labour’s Department of Employment must train job seekers to prepare Thai workers to have the knowledge and understand the procedures for working abroad. It also helps workers understand the conditions under the employment contract, employment conditions, customs, cultures, and traditions in the working country so that they are prepared to work and gain confidence, including knowing how to ask for help, understanding their benefits and protection according to law. Today, there are 477 Thai workers receiving training to prepare to travel to work, including 433 in Taiwan as production workers in industrial plants, 12 in Japan as welders and production workers in industrial plants, and 2 in Saudi Arabia as a draftsman and an ironworker. All of whom will travel to work via employment agencies.
“Congratulations to everyone who made it through the selection process and who has practiced language skills and work skills. I admire your effort and patience. Everyone is considered an important force in building a reputation with their skills and work skills and bringing back income to Thailand. Therefore, I would like to ask you to work hard and take responsibility for the tasks assigned to you as best you can. Don’t get involved with drugs and gambling. Plan your savings well in order to generate savings and create a future for yourself and your family,” said Mr. Aree.
The Department of Employment’s Director-General, Mr. Somchai Morakotsriwan, said that the Department of Employment responds to the Labour Minister’s policy and is committed to sending 100,000 Thai workers to work abroad in 2024 by maintaining employment in existing labour markets and expanding new labour markets abroad, encouraging Thai workers to work abroad legally. In the latest developments, 53,864 job seekers have already been sent to work abroad in 139 countries. The top five countries where Thai workers are sent to work are Taiwan, the Republic of Korea, Japan, the Lao People’s Democratic Republic, and the United States of America.
