วันที่ 26 พฤศจิกายน 2566 เวลา 11.30 น. นายไพโรจน์ โชติกเสถียร ปลัดกระทรวงแรงงาน มอบหมายให้ นายวรรณรัตน์ ศรีสุขใส รองปลัดกระทรวงแรงงาน ร่วมกล่าวเป็นเกียรติการประชุมใหญ่สามัญประจำปี ครั้งที่ 24/2566 และแสดงความยินดีในโอกาสเฉลิมฉลองครบรอบ 25 ปี แห่งการก่อตั้งสหภาพแรงงานสยามโตโยต้า ซึ่งจัดขึ้นโดยสหภาพแรงงานสยามโตโยต้า โดยมี นายสุชาติ ชมกลิ่น สมาชิกสภาผู้แทนราษฎร อดีตรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงแรงงาน นายธวัชชัย ศรีทอง ผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดชลบุรี นายธนัสถา คำมาวงษ์ ประธานสหภาพแรงงานสยามโตโยต้า นายมานิตย์ พรหมการีย์กุล ประธานสมัชชาแรงงานแห่งชาติ นายพงษ์เทพ ไชยวรรณ ที่ปรึกษาสหภาพแรงงานสยามโตโยต้า นายวสันต์ จันทิม เลขาธิการสหภาพแรงงานสยามโตโยต้า ร่วมเป็นเกียรติภายในงาน ณ ห้องประชุมทัศนาการ์เด้น ถนนมิตรสัมพันธ์ อำเภอเมืองชลบุรี จังหวัดชลบุรี
นายวรรณรัตน์ กล่าวว่า ผมมีความยินดีอย่างยิ่งที่ได้มาพบปะกับพี่น้องสหภาพแรงงานสยามโตโยต้าในวันนี้ สหภาพแรงงานสยามโตโยต้าเป็นองค์กรแรงงานที่มีระบบการบริหารแรงงานสัมพันธ์ที่ดี บนพื้นฐานการมีส่วนร่วมของนายจ้างและลูกจ้าง ซึ่งที่ผ่านมาไม่เคยมีการใช้มาตรการด้านแรงงานสัมพันธ์ เช่น การปิดงาน การนัดหยุดงาน เป็นต้น นอกจากนี้ สหภาพแรงงานสยามโตโยต้า ยังเป็นสหภาพแรงงานในสังกัดสภาองค์การลูกจ้างแรงงานยานยนต์แห่งประเทศไทย ที่มีนายธนัสถา คำมาวงษ์ เป็นประธานสภาฯ มีสมาชิกเป็นสหภาพแรงงานในสถานประกอบกิจการประเภทอุตสาหกรรมยานยนต์ และผลิตชิ้นส่วนรถยนต์กระจายอยู่ในจังหวัดสมุทรปราการ ชลบุรี และกรุงเทพมหานคร และเป็นสมาชิกของสหพันธ์แรงงานยานยนต์และอะไหล่โตโยต้า ที่มีดร.โอภาส ผลประเสริฐวานิช เป็นประธานสหพันธ์ฯ
นายวรรณรัตน์ กล่าวต่อว่า สหภาพแรงงานสยามโตโยต้า ได้กำหนดแนวทางการดำเนินงานโดยยึดหลักการแรงงานสัมพันธ์เชิงสร้างสรรค์ มีการปรึกษาหารือร่วมกับนายจ้างเพื่อแก้ไขปัญหาต่าง ๆ บนพื้นฐานของหลักการแรงงานสัมพันธ์ที่ดีอันมีความสำคัญที่ช่วยส่งเสริม สนับสนุนให้สถานประกอบกิจการ สามารถขับเคลื่อนไปข้างหน้าได้อย่างมั่นคงควบคู่กับการมีสภาพการจ้างและคุณภาพชีวิตที่ดีของลูกจ้าง บำเพ็ญประโยชน์ต่อสังคมส่วนรวมในรูปแบบต่าง ๆ อีกทั้งยังให้ความร่วมมือกับกระทรวงแรงงาน และหน่วยงานภาครัฐในการดำเนินกิจกรรมโครงการต่าง ๆ ด้วยดีเสมอมา ถือเป็นแบบอย่างที่ดี
“ผมขอชื่นชม และหวังเป็นอย่างยิ่งว่า สหภาพแรงงานสยามโตโยต้า จะมุ่งมั่นธำรงรักษาความสามัคคี และยึดมั่นหลักแรงงานสัมพันธ์ที่ดี เพื่อสร้างการพัฒนาและเสริมสร้างความเข้มแข็งด้านแรงงาน เพื่อให้ภาคอุตสาหกรรมยานยนต์ของประเทศสามารถยืนหยัด และก้าวไปข้างหน้าด้วยกันอย่างมั่นคง อันจะนำมาซึ่งความเข้มแข็งทางเศรษฐกิจของประเทศ และเกิดประโยชน์สุขร่วมกันทั้งนายจ้าง ลูกจ้าง สหภาพแรงงานสยามโตโยต้า ยังมีบทบาทในการร่วมดำเนินงานหลายด้านตามนโยบายของกระทรวงแรงงาน มีแนวทางและทิศทางการขับเคลื่อนการดำเนินงานด้านแรงงาน ได้แก่ ทักษะดี มีงานทำ หลักประกันสังคมทางสังคมเด่น ซึ่งการนำนโยบายทั้ง 3 ด้านไปปฏิบัติให้เป็นรูปธรรมจะเป็นพลังในการขับเคลื่อนเศรษฐกิจของประเทศอย่างยั่งยืนต่อไป” นายวรรณรัตน์ กล่าวท้ายสุด
On November 26, 2023, at 11.30 hours, the Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Phairoj Chotikasatian, assigned the Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Wannarat Srisuksai, to speak in honour of the Annual General Meeting No. 24/2023 and to express congratulations on the celebrations of the 25th anniversary of the founding of the Siam Toyota Workers Union, organized by the Siam Toyota Workers Union. Member of the House of Representatives and former Labour Minister, Mr. Suchart Chomklin, Chonburi Provincial Governor, Mr. Thawatchai Srithong, President of Siam Toyota Workers Union, Mr. Thanattha Khammawong, President of the National Labor Assembly, Mr. Manit Promkareekul, Advisor to the Siam Toyota Workers Union, Mr. Phongthep Chaiyawan, and Secretary-General of the Siam Toyota Workers Union, Mr. Wasan Chantim, joined in the honour at the event at Tasana Garden meeting room, Mitsamphan Road, Mueang Chonburi District, Chonburi Province.
Mr. Wannarat said he was pleased to meet with the Siam Toyota Workers Union members today. Siam Toyota Labor Union is a labour organization with a good labour relations management system. It is based on the participation of the employer and employees. Labour relations measures such as lockouts and strikes have never been used in the past. In addition, the Siam Toyota Workers Union is also a labour union under the Automobile Labour Congress of Thailand, the president of which is Mr. Thanattha Khammawong. There are union members from automotive industry establishments, those that produce automobile parts, in Samut Prakan, Chonburi, and Bangkok provinces. It is also a member of the Toyota Automotive and Parts Labour Federation, the president of which is Dr. Opas Phonprasertwanit.
Mr. Wannarat continued that the Siam Toyota Workers Union has established operating guidelines based on the principles of constructive labour relations. There are consultations with employers to solve various problems based on the important principles of good labour relations that help promote and support business establishments to move forward steadily, along with good employment conditions and quality of life for employees. It benefits society in various ways and cooperates with the Ministry of Labour and government agencies in carrying out various projects and activities, considered a good example.
“I would like to commend and hope that Siam Toyota Workers Union will strive to maintain unity and adhere to the principles of good labour relations to develop and strengthen the workforce so that the country’s automotive industry can stand firm and move forward together. This will bring about the country’s economic strength and create mutual benefits for both employers and employees. The Siam Toyota Workers Union plays a role in various operations, following the policies of the Ministry of Labour. There are guidelines and directions to drive labour operations, including good skills, employment, and outstanding social security principles. The implementation of these three policies into concrete practice will be the power to drive the country’s economy sustainably,” Mr. Wannarat concluded.
