วันที่ 7 กรกฎาคม 2566 นายบุญชอบ สุทธมนัสวงษ์ ปลัดกระทรวงแรงงาน มอบหมายให้ นายประทีป ทรงลำยอง รองปลัดกระทรวงแรงงาน เป็นประธานกล่าวเปิดงาน “IT Tastes Good อร่อยปักหมุด สตรีทฟู้ดไทย จังหวัดสงขลา” ภายใต้โครงการพัฒนาส่งเสริมอาชีพผู้ประกอบการร้านสตรีทฟู้ด (Street Food) กระทรวงแรงงาน โดยมี ว่าที่ร้อยตรีสมศักดิ์ พรหมดำ รองอธิบดีกรมสวัสดิการและคุ้มครองแรงงาน หัวหน้าส่วนราชการหน่วยงานสังกัดกระทรวงแรงงานจังหวัดสงขลา ผู้บริหารระดับสูงกระทรวงแรงงาน ผู้ประกอบการร้านค้าสตรีทฟู้ด และประชาชนที่มาร่วมงาน ร่วมให้การต้อนรับ นางสุจินดา บุญแอ แรงงานจังหวัดสงขลา กล่าวรายงานวัตถุประสงค์การจัดงาน ณ ลานอีเวนท์ข้างโรงเรียนวิริยะเธียร เหอะอ้าย สแควร์ อำเภอหาดใหญ่ จังหวัดสงขลา
นายประทีป กล่าวว่า ตามที่กระทรวงแรงงาน ได้จัดทำโครงการพัฒนาส่งเสริมอาชีพผู้ประกอบการร้านสตรีทฟู้ด (Street Food) กระทรวงแรงงาน โดยมีกิจกรรมประกอบด้วย การเปิดตัวโครงการ การจัดฝึกอบรมผู้สนใจประกอบอาชีพสตรีทฟู้ดรายใหม่ และผู้ประกอบอาชีพสตรีทฟู้ดรายเดิม จำนวนกว่า 30,000 ราย รวมทั้ง การจัดกิจกรรมแสดงร้านค้าสตรีทฟู้ดในวันนี้ ซึ่งเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของโครงการมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อสร้างโอกาสในการประกอบอาชีพสตรีทฟู้ด สร้างรายได้ และกระตุ้นเศรษฐกิจในชุมชน เป็นการประชาสัมพันธ์อาหารในท้องถิ่นและร้านอาหารต่างๆ ให้เป็นที่รู้จักของนักท่องเที่ยวและประชาชนทั่วไป อีกทั้งยังเป็นการยกระดับผู้ประกอบอาชีพสตรีทฟู้ดของจังหวัด ให้มีโอกาสนำเสนอรูปแบบการขายใหม่ เช่น รูปแบบฟู้ดทรัค (Food Truck) ซึ่งถือเป็นทางเลือกสำหรับผู้ต้องการเริ่มต้นธุรกิจสตรีทฟู้ดในรูปแบบต่าง ๆ
นายประทีป กล่าวต่อว่า กระทรวงแรงงาน ขอขอบคุณจังหวัดสงขลาที่ให้ความสำคัญกับโครงการพัฒนาส่งเสริมอาชีพผู้ประกอบการร้านสตรีทฟู้ด (Street Food) โดยคัดเลือกร้านค้าสตรีทฟู้ดที่มีชื่อเสียงของจังหวัดกว่า 60 ร้านมาร่วมกิจกรรมแสดงร้านค้าสตรีทฟู้ดในครั้งนี้ และขอเชิญชวนผู้ที่ประกอบอาชีพสตรีทฟู้ดอยู่เดิม ประชาชนผู้สนใจที่จะประกอบอาชีพสตรีทฟู้ด ตลอดจนพี่น้องประชาชนชาวสงขลาและจังหวัดใกล้เคียงมาเที่ยวชมงาน “It Tastes Good อร่อยปักหมุด สตรีทฟู้ดไทย จังหวัดสงขลา” ณ ลานอีเวนท์ข้างโรงเรียนวิริยะเธียร เหอะอ้าย สแควร์ อำเภอหาดใหญ่ จังหวัดสงขลา ระหว่างวันที่ 7 – 9 กรกฎาคมนี้ ซึ่งกิจกรรมภายในงาน ประกอบด้วย การออกบูธจําหน่ายอาหารจากผู้ประกอบการร้านสตรีทฟู้ดจํานวนกว่า 60 ร้านค้า กิจกรรม Workshop พัฒนาอาชีพ กิจกรรมอบรมให้ความรู้เกี่ยวกับการประกอบอาชีพร้านค้าอาหาร และกิจกรรมความสนุกความบันเทิงอีกมากมายซึ่งนอกจากจะได้รับทั้งความรู้เกี่ยวกับการประกอบอาชีพสตรีทฟู้ดแล้วยังได้เลือกชิมเลือกซื้ออาหารสตรีทฟู้ดที่มีคุณภาพของจังหวัดสงขลาจากงานนี้ด้วย
On July 7, 2023, the Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Boonchob Suttamanaswong, assigned the Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Prateep Songlamyong, to preside over the opening speech of the “It Tastes Good: Pinning Tasty Thai Street Food in Songkhla” event, under the Ministry of Labour’s career development program for street food business operators. The Department of Labour Protection and Welfare’s Deputy Director General, Acting Sub. Lt. Somsak Promdam, heads of government agencies under the Ministry of Labour in Songkhla Province, the Ministry of Labour’s executives, street food shop operators, and the people who attended the event gave a welcome. Songkhla Provincial Labour Officer, Mrs. Suchinda Boon-ae, reported the event’s objectives. The occasion took place at the event area next to Viriyathian School, Aoi Square, Hat Yai District, Songkhla Province.
Mr. Prateep said that the Ministry of Labour had created a career development project for street food operators with activities consisting of a project launch and training for 30,000 new and existing street food professionals, including activities to showcase street food stores. Today, as a part of the project, the objective is to create opportunities for street food careers, generate income and stimulate the community economy. It promotes local food and restaurants to be known to tourists and the general public. It also raises the level of street food professionals in the province to have the opportunity to introduce new business models, such as food trucks, which are considered an alternative for those who want to start a street food business in different forms.
Mr. Prateep continued that the Ministry of Labour thanks Songkhla Province for giving importance to the development of careers in street food. Over 60 famous street food shops in the provinces joined the event to showcase street food. He invited those in the street food profession, people who are interested in making a career in street food, as well as the people of Songkhla and nearby provinces to join the “It Tastes Good: Pinning Tasty Thai Street Food in Songkhla” event, at the event area next to the Wiriyathian School, Aoi Square, Hat Yai District, Songkhla Province, between July 7 and July 9. The event consists of food booths from over 60 street food shop operators, workshop activities for career development, training activities to provide information on the occupation of food shops, and many more fun and entertaining activities. In addition to gaining knowledge about street food occupations, participants can also taste and buy quality street food from Songkhla Province at this event.
