They were received by Ms. Kanjana Poolkaew, Secretary-General of the Social Security Office, along with executives and staff of the Social Security Office.

Mr. Julapun stated that the election of employer and insured-person representatives to the Social Security Committee is an important mechanism that enables stakeholders to shape the direction of, and drive, the social security system, a vital safeguard for Thai workers. The selection of representatives must be conducted transparently, fairly, and with accountability to genuinely reflect the will of eligible voters. He also emphasised the role of the Election Command Centre as a central hub for coordinating and supporting election operations, building accurate understanding among eligible voters, candidates, and all relevant parties, and instructing staff to perform their duties with diligence, impartiality, and with the interests of employers, insured persons, and the social security system as the primary consideration, so that this election proceeds smoothly and commands confidence from all sides.

The Election Command Centre operates with rotating staff throughout the election period and is open every day, including public holidays, from 08.30 to 16.30 hours. Inquiries are handled via the telephone number 02 956 2929 (10 lines) and the hotline 1506 (press 9), to serve all users comprehensively. According to the centre’s operational report since opening on June 1, no complaints have been received. Call volume via the direct line (02 956 2929) stands at 319 calls, and, combined with the 1506 hotline, the cumulative total is 716.

Ms. Kanjana Poolkaew, Secretary-General of the Social Security Office and Director of the Election Command Centre, stated that the Social Security Office is fully aligned with the Labour Minister’s policy and has established the Command Centre as a central hub to drive and facilitate all aspects of the election process. All centre staff have been instructed to perform their duties with transparency and to the best of their ability, focusing on proactive service delivery to build public confidence, while ensuring that election procedures across all regions are conducted securely and smoothly.
